They seem a reasonable budget air rifle spoilt by that stupid shrouded barrel, a carbine length with a silencer option would make a nice option paid for bining that nasty scope, just a personal opinion though, Thank's for the Video Andy 🤙🤙

Friday has come around once more Mrs P seems to be working from home again ! Today though there's a difference, no radio blah blah , no knife adge or inverted passes with the hoover , the silence is a little unerving . Even faithful hound can't decide whether to throw himself in his box or bounce around the kitchen. I'm eating weetabix with all the enthusiasm of a condemned man's attempt at his last breakfast .
I watch your review , balanced , well presented and without comparison to other makes which could so easily have been done in this instance but professional as ever you review the rifle in front of you , well done.
I'm reminded that somewhere in my son and I's joint arsenal we have a gas ram self loader and the range sells bacon sandwiches, time to go .

Those look bad-ass for sure! That multi shot system sure looks convenient compared to fiddling with single pellets for each shot. Maybe ill add something like this to the collection some day in the future.

Brilliant value rifles Andy. I imagine with a bit of pellet testing and a good scope, they would be as versatile as you mentioned. 👍
Love the channel. Looks like a decent platform. I wish retailers and manufacturers would worry more about quality and accuracy here in the US and less about making a gun with way more power than needed. Thanks for sharing.

@@558vulcanxhWe aren't getting it anywhere near as bad as Ireland and the west coast and south west, we mainly got a nice warm 18c breeze, and a bit of rain later in the evening, I'm from north east of England too, near the coast al area of Redcar down to Whitby, where men are men and sheep are nervous 😏

I thought I would share something with you after watching your review on the hills compressor a few times I thought I would take the plunge and bought one I know they are not cheap but I am well impressed with how easy it was to set it up and how quick and easy it is to fill my rifle so thank you for your review of this
I wasn't expecting much from that video and almost didn't watch it - but the Mission looks like it could actually be a good starter.
So... never judge a book by its cover.
Now we are all on a budget, when it comes to air rifles but , for a bit more money you can buy something made in the Uk or even Europe ,
It’s a shame crosman don’t move there manufacturing some were else

Morning Andy, from the trigger guard backwards the Diamondback is quite similar to the L1-A1 SLR which I used to have as my personal weapon in the 80’s. I wonder if anyone agrees
I miss the scoped FAL, my trusted comrade in Lebanon 1979. The barrel covers on these air rifles look ugly. The diamondback would look a lot more attractive as a semi bullpup pcp
My thoughts went more bit towards the M16 ..but I like the way you thinking.😁👍🏻

@@brorjordas1979I was thinking of the original m16 also. I'm not too keen on the butt cut for the sling, it limits you to only carrying it one way comfortably. A secondary classic swivel mount would have been nicer imo.
When coming to multi-shot break barrel air rifles, I've been more of a Gamo guy. But this review surely makes it seem as Crosman would have stepped up a bit in the multi-shot game. Not bad - the price at least. Good Gamo Swarm break barrels surely been more expensive than these rifles (around here in Finland at least).
I could see myself owning one of those Mission models. I really like the stock design of it..
The Gamo Coyotey is a great multi shot budget rifle, I love mine.
I know it would be a pain but could you please do a video showing how much effort it takes to fill a budget PCP with a hand pump. Really been wondering if it's manageable as an older person not as fit as I once was.
I had to double-take the Diamondback as the stock and pistol grip is very reminiscent of the British L1A1 SLR, and i'm yet to see an air rifle replica of the SLR in the uk.
My very first air rifle was a crossman multi pump pneumatic from the Sussex Armoury in Shambles Square in Manchester ( prior to the bombing)
It was 177 and bb enabled...it was great.
If you put say 5 bbs down the barrel you had a mini shotgun... destroyed tin cans !!😂

Rarely I don't see a gun I don't like on this channel. Thank gawd I have control over impulse buy's. Plus I wouldn't have the place to store them all. I really do have a thing for springers my first airgun love.

You will have to keep a check on the magazine as dry firing Springers and Gas Rams are definitely not good practice.
On the last "shot" was that a dry fire? If so i think there is a risk to these multishot piston rifles becoming damaged over time? Just my thoughts.
Like these Crosmans though, but I do have enough rifles. 🤔 🤔 🤔.

"At least it's dry!"indeed!This is the longest period of virtual non-stop rain I've known.Began in July 2022 and hardly a dry day until February began although February and March have been a bit drier.If this rain doesn't stop you may have to invest in an under water spear gun!

I know the single shot Diamondback in .22 is a relatively easy rifle to shoot well.

If they are running around 11+lb from new I would be careful to keep an eye on the power after the running in period as power levels can go up as well as down . I had a walther century and it was at 11.7 FB from new and it crept up to bang on 12 with the pellets I was using, if the police ever had reason to test it I dread to think what level it might be with whatever they put into test guns so I try to regulate my guns to be closer to 11fb for this reason
These are very similar to the gamo replay series.

Yea. Woulda been nice with some comparing words. I've easily been leaning way more towards Gamo when talking multi-shot break barrel air rifles. Gamo is the leader in the game if asked me. But seems as if Crosman has stepped up a bit now.
I’ve got the speedster and have been less than impressed. But I love the principle. Now if they had HW/TX accuracy I’d happily pay a premium
A cheap budget option but why not go to your gun shop and look at pre-owned rifles with scope and the possibility of a better quality set up? Indeed, my advice to any new air rifle shooter would be to go to a couple of gun shops for advice.
Not every place has shops easily available. In my state in US the closest is 4+ hours away with the other 2 even farther.
Abit of weird question Andy but what you say someone’s who was in plinking and pest control who wants to get back in shooting, but wants to go up a level from springers ?

The Theoben SLR98 was the finest gas ram multishot rifle ever produced. Sadly no longer made and £2000+ for a used one
Your getting there Andy with the fast fire rifles, come on let’s do a review on the Steyr self indexing, or you could just take any comments on this rifle down like last week.
How many single shots do you reckon you could shoot in the time it takes to load that mag?
Also, how reliable will the loading system prove to be?
Where can I get those targets and stand from?
The Diamondback stock has an element of 7.62mm SLR about it.

Hideous plastic on the barrels, i couldn't take either of them seriously.
I hate polymer on guns, it should be a big no no. Wood and metal only for me, the only trouble is we're getting polymer forced on us as a choice, and younger buyers will one day never know there was wooden stocks, only retro guns will have then wood trim and the young will do what the young do and regard it as old fashioned. 😮😊

I have offer my lyra for him to review.. its a very good rilfe for under 400 quid.. the accuracy is that good.. I was shooting beer bottle tops stood up and it was to easy. So I laid them flat and still couldn't miss.. shooting at 30yrds
