Watch Me Create Art Journal Pages! 🗑️ Zero Waste & Printing Techniques 🌿

- Join me while I am creating a spread in my art journal! I'll be showing you my whole process, with some collected zero waste items like food packages, boxes, etc. I use some printing techniques and show a way to get started with a creating easily. There's actually no plan at all.
First, I find inspiration, looking at some wall paper samples and colour swatches I grabbed at the hardware store. It turns out te be simple and a wonderful way to explore. During the process, of course, you could let go of the chosen colours. Based on my swatches and wall paper, I paint a first layer with the roller and acrylic paint and half of the work is already done!
From then, I take things one by one and look at those with just asking myself the question: Can I use this right now? Does this feel good? All kind of things pass through my hands and I create my pages step by step. I use the tomato box as a stencil, I use the texture of a croissant box for gelli printing and some flowers on a tea box I simply glue in my art journal.
When the project gets in the final stage I connect some loose ends and make sure all colours are coming back on each page. I love to draw the leaves that I copy a bit from the wall paper.
In the video there's a hidden question. I'd love to hear your answer! Please write it down in the comments below.

Thanks! I absolutely admire your work so much. I’m learning a lot. I hope you enjoy your coffee 😂… wish I could do more thank you so much💙🤎💚💛🤍
Thanks soooo much, we will surely enjoy our coffee tomorrow. And that will give us the energy to create new videos! Much love from France.
I LOVE the idea of using a brayer to do the backgrounds! ❤❤❤ The pages you showed are awesome! This one is a winner!
It’s onenig the most wonderful things I ever discovered! Thanks for watching. Good luck!
Great watching your process and such a lovely day. Your pages are beautiful and inspirational 😃
Thanks sooo much for wat hing and your kind words!
Once again another great video and page. Yes, I buy for the packaging all the time. Safe travels home.
Hi thank you for watching and your comment. What kind of things do you buy? Much love from France!
Lovely
Thank you!!
Enjoyed every minute of this video. I love your style and you have inspired me to ha e a go of journalling this way 😊
I'm so glad to hear that! Good luck with your art journal! Lots of love from The Netherlands!
Thank you. I make my own mix journals, with canvas, watercolorpaper and craftpaper. I buy rolls of canvas and A3 watercolorpaper and put it all together, to A4 journals. It works great.👍🏻📘😄
That’s a great idea! How do you create the cover?
So lovely. The weather here has been very hot and humid as well. It will start cooling down in a short time. I can't think of anything that I bought just because of the packaging. Although, this may sound silly, but When I order pizza delivery I keep the lid of the box. It has a very nice Italian scene of an alley and buildings with a stone archway. I think it will make a cool background to work on. Of course I would change the colors. Cut out the archway and put something behind it. God bless
Hi there Julia! So nice to hear from you. Your pizza box idea sounds amazing! I sometimes use carton from the wine boxes I buy, it says 'open here', but it looks nice, especially when you use it for small books and flaps in your art journal. Let's keep up the good work and use the things we see!
Great to see you create these pages, which i absolutely L-O-V-E!!! Curious to find out what you're going to do with them next time!
And to answer your question: i never bought something because of the packaging, but i definitely will consider it!!! 😀
Hi that’s sooo nice to hear, you’ve been watching the video fully! I don’t know what will be next so stay tuned!
Bonjour !!

Loe your videos! Btw, you can paint directly onto the gelli plate. You can find wonderful techniques on using gelli plates on UA-cam!
Yes, that's very cool! I often use the roller and love adding textures. Both is great! I also created an online course on printing with botanical items like leaves and flowers.
👍👍👍💕💕💕🇩🇰
Thank you!!
I bay the clipper tea special for the packets 😅
Yes those the boxes are amazing! Also the tea bags are nice to use if you dry them first.
