It's rather oversteer. You oversteer, overload your wheel while inertia force you out of road in a turn. FWD indeed helps you to fight oversteer by dragging you INTO road while pressing your wheels having as good grip on asphalt as possible.. With RWD it's way harder to pull off bcs accelerating tear front wheels from road by pushing car mass into the air.
If you put a snail against a 1000 hp open wheeler it's not a fun race to watch. But get a bunch of the same snails and it's surprisingly a good race since it's based on skill.
