Wow 13 years. Everything is possible. Isn't it amazing how you can remember each rock and where they came from. Keep being happy, ssfe and stay healthy.😷⚒
Just a Nat Geo 3lb tumbler for my first kick. I can see it expanding though and have asked for supplies for Christmas. Lol I found lots of red jasper and milky quartz, a few carnelian, but my favourites so far was the zebra stone! That was exciting! All in and around St Margaret’s Bay and Digby Neck. No one told me that it’s so addictive!
Happy 13th Birthday Nolan 🎂🎁🎈 I hope you had an awesome day! Those are all great agates! I especially love the ones with bands and the seam agates are amazing. Thanks for sharing Jason!✌🤠
That very first one is a great example of the need to fully clean out the cracks before moving on to the next stage. There was an impressive amount in there when that came apart. Happy Birthday!!!!
Happy 13th, Nolan! Opening a mystery tumbler of rocks is a pretty nice thing to do on your birthday. Always fun to remember where they came from. Thanks to both of you for sharing them!
Hello brother🖐 Saya sangat suka dengan Batu Batu yang Anda perlihatkan, sungguh indah sekali,Batu yang langka dan sangat antik hasil kekayaan dari bumi, Thanks for sharing brother 🤝🇮🇩👍
HAPPY BIRTH DAY NOLAN!!! those treasures would have ended up being small cabs if i found them, it is the only way i found to get rid of the cracks,, any way beautiful treasures you guys have
Happy birthday Nolan! Snowing then raining on your birthday- you are so right that’s so Nova Scotia. I remember trying to shovel out the driveway Before my Dad got home from work and couldn’t drive in the driveway. Then halfway through the knee deep snow became slush for the 1st 20 cm and icy snow on top all while the rain came down. Good times in the 70s. Love the rock journey today. I’m about to do some tumbles for the first time over the Xmas break. Thirsty for all the info you share. December will be hot though here in Sydney Australia
I always try to get out shoveling before it warms up for that exact reason. Don;t want to shovel heavy snow!! I usually try to shovel while its snowing to prevent the big shovel afterwards. Good luck with your first tumble!!
Thanks Julie!! A Cycad is a tree/big plant. There are still species around today. They thrive in tropical climates. They kind of look like miniature palm trees. They also existed back in the Jurassic period around 200 MYA.
That agate at 6:00 is incredible!!! I have two questions. First, is the Lot O really that noisy? I've heard they are noisy and is my biggest reason for not pulling the trigger. Second, do you have an Etsy site or something to buy any of your work? I like how your such a perfectionist! I've actually just thought of a third question, lol! Do you cut and grind any rocks before you throw them in the rotary? Thank you for always take the time to answer my questions! I appreciate everything you do. Happy Birthday to Nolan! And a Happy Holidays to you and your family 🙂
Hey man thanks! To answer your questions, I don't find the lot-o tumbler noisy but maybe I'm used to it. If you have a garage or basement you are good to go. We don't have an etsy store but I've been meaning to get one set up. Just haven't had the time to do it or create enough inventory. Sometimes we will through the smaller rocks we cut on the saw into the tumbler. No problem and feel free to ask questions anytime. Happy Holidays to you and your loved ones as well!
* Hooray for Teen-agers.. So cute.. * * Can you use a Dremel rotary tool to grind down some of the bad spot before you put them in tumbler?? Just wanted to know...
You guys have some real beauties in there! I'm not sure what my favorite stage is between 1 and 4 now. 1 is awesome because its the most change and sometimes reveals your amethyst pockets! 4 is great because they are all shiny and amazing! So are you going to add more rocks that are ready for stage 2 and fire it up or are you going to put those aside and run the barrel on stage 1 again?
Most of the rocks in this vid will go back into stage one with some fresh rocks to fill up the barrel. The ones ready for stage 2 will go onto the Lot-o.
Cheers Nolan
Nolan says thanks buddy!
Happy Birthday Nolan. What a great batch of rocks. Can't wait to see the final result.
Thanks! 👍
