- Hey everybody! So it has been a while...
Life got a little chaotic and I haven't been able to sit down and make a video for a while. But I'm back baby!
I know that this isn't the best video I have ever made... I'm filming in my laundry room and getting used to whole new setup and computer not to mention a whole new body and mind. So please be kind and patient with me!
I know I touch on a lot of things in this video and you probably have a lot of followup questions. So definitely do let me know what direction you guys would like to see with my content, I will do my best to try to cover all the bases. I would also maybe like to experiment with lives if you like that idea. Would you prefer UA-cam lives, instagram, or a little bit of both?

This is a wonderful day - i really thought you might have permanently moved on from youtube, or maybe the medical challenges had become too overwhelming to vlog about, and yet you always remained in my heart. And today you have returned!!!!!!!!

I still think you would, there is something about your voice, your disposition and then the combination of trauma you've experienced plus emotional maturity you've developed...you are a gift to so many, even if it's just sharing your journey here. More than the video, it’s just great to see that you’re doing better these days! I’ve followed you for many years now, including on Instagram during your hiatus, and it’s always a joy and a relief to see you having the freedom to enjoy yourself. I still have a rainbow you made hanging on my wall - it’s been through several moves with me over the past four years but has always been proudly displayed. Although ableist society makes it unsafe to go out, know that there are those of us out here who still mask and still care. And we haven’t all lost interest in long form media, either! I’m so happy to have an update, I feel like I am re-conecting with an old friend.
I’ve been watching your videos for years, I was a med student at the time and now I am a full fledged physician waiting to begin my masters degree.
You have no idea how much your videos motivated me to keep trying my best, be it at school or the hospitals, since then I’ve also been able to receive an AuDHD diagnosis.
Just wanted you to know how much your videos inspired me to study hard and always treat ppl with care and empathy.

I am SO PROUD OF YOU! That is AMAZING news!!!! Congratulations! Sounds like you have been working so hard. I actually was diagnosed with ADHD actually and it makes a little of sense now that I look back. I was honestly totally blindsided until I finally understood. Thank God for my patient neuropsych. He was the greatest!

I had a gallbladder experience with my EDS, where I the pain was so bad I thought I was having a heart attack. It turned out my gallbladder was close to rupturing.

Welcome back! Been following on Facebook and Instagram as I was able. Are you aware of the Walk for Victory returning to Boston this year? Maybe we as a community can figure out a way to bring back the Connective Tissue Conditions support meetings after the pandemic and Jon stepping back from organizing things. I have Loeys-Dietz Syndrome, had two heart surgeries, two eye surgeries, and a neck fusion. While I haven’t faced the same complications, I have also faced many doctors and my own family and friends questioning my health issues, for instance I have the opposite issue with CSF pressure but few doctors that are willing to accept the complicated nature of LDS- neurology saying that I couldn’t have a CSF leak spontaneously, pain management calling my refusal of spinal or neck injections ‘drug seeking’, and trying to get braces and other care items covered by insurance. Glad to see you back on UA-cam and thanks for sharing so much!

Christina, oh my goodness! It is so great to see you back on UA-cam again. You have been missed so much. We've messaged back and forth on Facebook several times during your time away. You have, undoubtedly, been through so much over these last 4 years. But, you are constantly a huge source of strength for me in dealing with my own medical issues. I am preparing to undergo my first spinal laminectomy and fusion of my L4, L5 and S1 on Friday, May 31, 2024. To say I am a bit scared and anxious is an understatement. I have been in a considerable amount of progressively increasing pain in my lower back and hips over the last 3-5 years. So, this surgery seems like my only option now as I have exhausted so many others. You are continuously in my thoughts and prayers and I wish you the very best always. I am truly looking forward to seeing any new videos you post here in the near future. Love you lots, my friend!

I can't even say how excited I was to get this notification! So happy to see you here again and can't wait for whatever is in store. I am absolutely a long-form, UA-cam girlie at heart and will always prefer this over Reels or Tik Tok.
Thank you for coming back. I’m sure this video was a LOT of work and took a lot out of you. Please keep the long form and don’t worry about the video quality. I just love to hear your thoughts, and how and what you’re doing. I’ve missed you! I have chronic pain and brain fog and all sorts of other symptoms from Fibromyalgia and might be why I’ve found you a kindred spirit. But In some weird and wacky way, following your journey also empowered me to continue to seek a mental health diagnosis that I felt was actually correct. I’ve been diagnosed with BiPolar and Med-resistance depression and have been on some pretty intense meds for well over 20 years now. But I kept looking and reading and I finally underwent a 2 day neurological evaluation and at 60 years old was diagnosed with Autism. Now I’m on a different journey, which is wild and wacky and wonderful in some ways, scary in others, but I finally feel like I’m at least on the right road now. Again - welcome back!
