Well done on your amazing grades! I'm praying for my A Level results to be half as good 😭
Good luck! You got this :)
Very informtive thankyoul!
Love your content!! How do you efficiently delegate time management and efficiently study in those 6-8 hour periods? Thank you :)
Thank you! I am making a video specifically about this, so look out for that!
I am an international student. I want to apply to UK universities, but I only study A-levels, is GCSE necessary for applying to universities? What is GCSE used for?
I am aiming for 3 A* in A-level Math, Chem & Physics - considering the efficient implementation of these tips, would this be achievable in 3 months?
With 3 months of focussed hard work I think this is manageable, provided you've been up to date with your studies throughout the whole school year. Hope this helps :)
Hi, thanks for this. I wanted to ask how many hours (on average) you studied whilst doing A levels and then during medicine at Oxford and what you would consider a good minimum amount of hours?
You're welcome! On average I'd say 6-8hrs a day on the days I'm not going into school (i.e. study leave, weekends etc). Tbh I'd say 5-6 hours is a good minimum as long as you're concentrating for those hours you're working! hope this helps
@@TriyaAnushka thank you!
H!! watching this video i was so shocked, i am going into year 13 this september, i do the same A levels, got the same grades at the end of yr 12 and am predicted A*AAA for UCAS too 😭😭. I am worried because my grades are not the highest they can be and because my resits are in between my UCAT and BMAT i may have to sacrifice my subject revision time for BMAT. How do you think i can go about this please?
Wow i am in the exact same boat
Those predicted grades are great! I would focus on getting a good score on the BMAT rather than resitting your A levels at this point
@@TriyaAnushka Hi, I love your videos, can you tell me who has the authority to predict your grades?
How was your BMAT?
does anyone at all have low grades (7's) at Gcse???? like in the core subjects of bio chem math and physics bc i got 7 and 6's not rlly thinking GCSE's were that important but idk now im seriously doubting that. I did achieve some A*'s and A's just not a lot and mostly in essay based subjects.
I am an international student and I didn’t took GCSE I am only studying A-levels. Is GCSE necessary for applying to universities?
@CharlieJones0123 if your International it shoudnt really matter, they will probably ask for your academic background in your native country and it will probably have to be quite strong especially since ur International. dont quote me on this tho bc im 16 and i havent even started applying yet lmaoo.
@@Smile-ml4no so if you are UK student, you do need gcse grades to apply to universities?
@@Smile-ml4no isn’t gcse only used for applied to high school or sixth form?
@@CharlieJones0123
Sixth form:
Depends if you’re less academic and go to college they don’t matter, but u basically have no traditionak academic future without good GCSES.
So when applying to sixth form / college mainly GCSEs matter, they’re literally what gets u in.
Uni:
GCSEs are less important now. It depends if ur aiming for an average or top uni.
Top unis care about GCSEs.
Average unis only care about GCSE subject results for Rnglish maths and whatever you’re doing at uni.
But when you apply to uni, they mainly look at alevrel results 90% and 10% GCSEs. Gcses are way easier than alevel that’s why.
For competitive courses such as Oxford, Cambridge, ucl, med in general your GCSEs definitely matter. They’re way more competitive.
Hope this helps:)
As an international student wanting to apply to Oxford, is igcse necessary or can you just use international A Levels
I think international A Levels are enough! You don't have to have iGCSEs, as long as you have equivalent qualifications that's enough :) good luck!
@@TriyaAnushka thank you so much 💜💕
Hi can you get into med school if you have got two Bs and others As in GCSEs
yeah but for top unis you’ll be much less competitive for med. other subjects care slightly less, but for med it’s just top of the top tbh
🙈 "Promo SM"
Bro gcse aint important . I got C , D, D, D , E, E, E, E, E, U. I still gat a job easy man . Nobody care , chill man
I am an international student. I want to apply to UK universities, but I only study A-levels, is GCSE necessary for applying to universities? What is GCSE used for?
igcse is a must cuz it shows that u finished ur secondary. u need ur igcse score to go to a level which is a pre uni and then its uni. if u have done any other secondary level exams in different country, however, u dont need to do igcse.
@@CharlieJones0123No if u have equivalent grades for ur country.
