Had a Toyota previously, this feature worked very well. Just got a Ridgeline and it's utter garbage. Per other owners in online forums, it's been complete garbage since '20.
I have a Kia Ceed SW 2021. It dazzles the oncoming traffic before it switches off. I therefore never use it. Kia is simply bad design and I could never think of buying a Kia again.
worst feature ever made in automotive industry. imagine being blinded by careless driver from behind you consistently and not only that but they'll tailgate your ass off. this shouldn't be a feature at all. by the time the other side driver passes by its pointless.
I have a 2020 CR-V and it has this feature. It has always turned the high beams off automatically for me when a car is in front of me. It can def be a bit finicky at times depending on the area and the lighting. But 99% of the time it works fine for me at switching them on and off when a car is approaching or in front of me.
A lot of brands make a matrix and like a matrix headlights it’s a real technology, very usefully, honda lagged behind in technology It's ridiculous that you even advertise this
I have a 2019 Toyota Avalon and the auto dimming headlights work great and I love them, I bought a 2022 Ridgeline and they are totally worthless. The reflection from road signs brings them to a point where they are almost flickering. I lost a lot of respect for Honda.
does sport trim has this function?
No
Honda accord touring **
Super cool !!
Is this settings for all vehicles or only Honda cars?
Other cars have this feature of course. But how you activate and de activate the feature will probably be different.

Does this include CRV adaptive headlights ?
Hi, guys can we adjust distance of the high beam work.
I love this function
Have a 2020 CR-V and agree. Didn't even know the vehicle had this till I drove it at night the day I got it.
Honda accord touring has it **
@Jxstvib1ng 2021+ accord Lx trim have this feature too
@@RaFa024 oh I didn’t know that . Thanks! 😀
Does the Honda Vezel RS sensing 2017 have auto high beam feature?
Do you need to do this every time when you start the car or will the auto high beam stay off ?
IF ITS IN AUTO it turns on automatically at night . If it’s not in auto you have to turn on your headlights manually .
Nice
Wow
Honda sells your driving information to insurance companies who can use it to raise your rates.
Wow Amezing
Detects no vehicles, what about cyclist or pedestrian
cyclists fault
Well you use highs technically to see pedestrians and cyclists that have basically nothing to make then easily to notice them at night.

Matrix LED's are illegal in the USA and aren't functional
@@jacobfabus9904 they are legal in the usa
@@jacobfabus9904 wrong they changed the laws recently. But you wont see them on many cars as they cost a ton.

@@crappiecaptain auto dimming and matrix headlights are not the same thing. Not even close
Worst feature ever thought of.. wish it were discontinued on all makes and models.
