If you guys didn’t understand your regular headlights it’s that that lever can go in four different directions if you leave it in place it’s gonna be ur main headlights, if you push it away from you so closer to the front of the car is ur high beam and if you push it towards u it’s ur low beam, fog lights can only activate if low beam is on now if you push the lever up or down it’s gonna be ur signal of left or right
This is really good for someone driving a automatic for the first time. Couldn't figure out if the blue light means that it automatically dips when passing another car or stays on. Probably blinded a couple of people.
when waiting on the side of the road at dark, those lights arent meant for driving really, though some people use them in the dusk but its better to just turn on the actual headlights instead
Daytime running lights are to be used during the day. They aren't meant for you to see better, but they allow you to be more noticable. Trust me, they work. When I have all my lights off, people used to turn in front of me much more, as if they never saw me, or thought I was a parked car.
Essentially running lights, daytime running lights, sitting lights, side lights, corner lights, GENERALLY they turn on only side and some lower lights just to make you noticeable while sitting or driving. I use them when sitting when I just want to be seen. My sitting lights turn side lights on, turns on my back lights (in a dimmer fashion) my front lights (front below the headlights). Essentially, allowing people to see I’m just there and my car is active. There isn’t a real need outside of just not blinding people with your headlights or highs. Parking lots, parking, places where you want to just sit and have some light but not enough to throw out there. If you’re unsure at dusk, park and turn on those lights and walk around your car and see which lights are on, when you flip down the tab or roll the bar. :)
i was scared to drive at night but had to one night.. turned on the headlights and got high-beamed by peoples from opposite directions (which i thought means that it's too bright and blinding them?) which light should i use then?😢
Can someone please let me know how many set of lights are installed in front? Are there 2 for corner, 2 for headlights? Any others? I want to install LED for Mazda CX7 for headlights not corner lights. Any recommendation? Thank You.
I leave my lights on auto and it comes on exa when you expect Annoys me when I bring the car in for service and they don't make sure it's set back to auto when they're done
generally you dont want to leave anything on overnight unless you want to wake up to a dead car battery. dead battery means you wont be able to start your car engine
@@shoyrushoyru I understand but in my country sometimes I have to park on the side of the dark road for several hours and I'm quite worry that the battery will eventually run out.
I feel so embarrassed for not knowing how to turn my headlights on. I was one time driving my auntie car to get some food. And as I got there, I saw the the headlights were on. Me thinking I know how to turn them off, I instead turned on the windshield wipers, and was panicking to turn them back off. I was like "I hope no one saw me" :$
it’s honestly so nice of you to make these videos to try to help people, idk why people make fun of you. you’re literally amazing and so helpful, thank you! i’m going for my g2 test on the 25th, i’m super nervous but i feel confident! update: i passed on my first try, thank you so much!❤️❤️

Honestly I am so grateful to you for making videos like these. Many people think that these are too basic things that everybody should be born knowing but nobody is born knowing things. Your lessons are SO helpful for novice and nervous students like me!

great video for a newbie driver like me who does not know anything in particular about the steering switches because the driver instructor only teach how to signal left and right
Thank you so much. I got pulled over last night because apparently my headlights don't work and what I've been using/thought were my headlights, are my fog lights. And I didn't even know how to put my high beams on!
Thank you for this video. These are basic stuff that people expect you to know, and they get irritated if you ask them. Your video is of great help to those who need to get their basics right.
Cool but you missed explaining THE SUPERB benefits of leaving the headlight setting in AUTO!!! That’s THE optimal setting because of: dawn/dusk, tunnels, dark parking lots, foggy, rainy, dark-rainy-cloudy winter days, etc. on which the lights will BE ON as a SAFETY factor. One confusing term: interior lights. Headlight switch has nothing to do with a car’s interior lights. Lastly, you use “corner lights” for parking lights setting which also illuminate the rear tag/license plate. Thanks

Question: Are the corner lights also known as the "daytime lights"? If so, when would be an appropriate time to use them?

HEADLIGHTS by most state laws and recommended by many.
Headlights when in doubt. The UPS way.
