So sorry for your losses, that is a lot process in less than a year, wishing you and your family peace. Glad to see another video from you, been looking forward to it for sure. I learned a lot and want you to know, you're a great teacher, love the vids, the music, the honesty and of course, the Mopar. You do fantastic work and should be very proud. I had the reverse issue, where my bore was bigger than the combustion chamber. Factory 400 block bored at 4.375 with trickflow heads, my fix was to notch every bore around the intake valve. I have not heard from anyone having this issue, maybe they never checked. Then after i decked .080 from the heads now 65ccs i did what you did and fit the chambers to each bore.
    Fun stuff

All those years of reading, following, learning have been worth it, and can accelerate the learning for others. Porting of heads and matching them to the bores sounds so logical but I hadn't seen any focus on it from my previous reading - that said, what you're building is about 600HP above what I have been expecting so far ;)
It's good to know that when you were hurting, you devoted the time and effort to what mattered and found your way through it. I don't think anyone fully heals from those things, but all of us are shaped by our experiences whether they're pleasant or upsetting; we change whether we want to or not, we just have to try and steer ourselves towards our goals and as much health and happiness as possible.

Also, I love the thought process of deciding which parts to run and why. As you know, this engine would not be very practical as a true daily driver and it could evolve over time. We live at 5000' elevation and that is one of the ways i get away with 12 to 1 compression on 91 pump gas. The B1 platform does address some of the design limitations of the traditional style production heads. This head was designed in the 80's and is in need of an update, but for its size its pretty good.

I've been doing that for years and had people argue with me that it doesn't matter. I have a 6. Liter LS with the LS3 head which has a wider chamber than the 4 inch bore. The patch is to bevel the top of the block. People tell me still, that it doesn't matter. I don't understand anyone who understands air flow would think that way.
