Lord, have mercy!
How can anyone in their right mind call waiting 40 years for a sentence to be carried out ; Justice, the people the said convict made victims out of are forced to pay (via tax dollars) to help feed, house, & provide medical & dental to the perpetrator that killed a loved one ... any way you look at it that simply cannot be called justice , at least with a straight face!

As of 2024, 45 years ago was 1979. 40 years ago was 1984. 41 years ago was 1983.
I was born in 82 😂😂 now I'm confused 😂😂
I was born in May 1983. I will be 41 on May 1st 2024.
Oh, cool. It all comes down to the evidence. Well, we all watched him kill that officer, and attempt to kill the other officer as well. So, getting the death penalty shouldn't be difficult AT ALL... right?
I can't believe the amount of cop killer culture in these comments.
Nothing about the felony murderer stands out to them.
It's always a conspiracy of rogue police officers.
A lot of them are bots. If you go on the video of his surrender to law enforcement you'll find accounts with these sorts of usernames: "Fakename-random numbers and letters"

He acted in self-defense. Wake up
@@intelligenceissexy3733 there is no possible way an intelligent or rational person could consider this self-defense.
The female officer was as sweet as she could be to him. She asked him numerous times to step out of the vehicle. He knew he was in trouble because he was a prohibited possessor in possession of a firearm. He made a decision to kill rather than face the consequences of his crime. When he repeatedly refused to get out of his vehicle and face the consequences of his actions he gave the officers no choice but to physically remove him from the vehicle. They had no other option because he chose this path. They did not choose this path. When they attempted to pull him from the vehicle, they did not strike him or hit him in any way. He started hitting them. Then they tased him, which is the appropriate response to a suspect hitting you. Then he murdered one of them and wounded the other.
He decided that somebody was going to die that day. They didn't choose that.

He will have an attorney and it doesn't help that they ruffed him up and abused him. I think they blew the case.
I am usually completely on the cops side.. but I couldn’t believe how far they pushed smelling weed to search the car. I feel as though they needlessly escalated it. Obviously, the perp was the one who pulled the gun and committed the ultimate evil. And he deserves everything coming to him for making that decision. Just an all around tragic situation.
He is also a felon in possession of a firearm and driving under the influence. Too bad the cops did not escalate things even quicker. Its Tennessee. They should have assumed he was armed. A man is dead. Another officer wounded. A couple had this happen in their driveway. I do not know if you have ever been shot. I have in ‘92. It still physically effects me to this day. I do not know if you have ever seen someone shot dead. I have. It still affects me mentally to this day. People sympathetic to murderers are as much a part of the problem as the murderers themselves.
They definitely escalated it and s didn't have enough back up to handle it without it turning out bad. Not saying what he did was ok but the cop was out of control as well.
@@martinswiney2192felons in possession of a firearm is hollow. Supreme court has overturned every felon in possession case brought in front of it... 🙄

You are a sick person. Imagine if that was your father, your mother. Imagine them going to work to serve their community and be executed on the job. Imagine their last moments being on the ground bleeding out.
You’re a prick, this POS deserves prison forever.
Defending yourself from police torture is now a capital offence.
I can see where your coming from ..big man like that is not coming out while still seat belted in .not saying shooting the deputy was justified .but he was getting lit up good .. And not saying in this case but there is alot PUNK cops running around now ..if you encounter a 20 yr vet there attitude is alot different than say like a 5 yr
By the way, your precious little angel here nobly and heroically defending himself from "torture" was a felon in possession of a gun.

@PhartmonsterGaming the guy was respectful to the woman officer until she implied Marijuana smell . He adamantly said while on the phone with his grandma that he don't smoke and called her out . Officer said I'm not saying you smoke or etc, so .... he asked for a police dog to confirm her suspicion but was declined, saying the dogs don't look for weed 🤔 but he let the officer talk to his grandma, whose the owner of the car explained the same thing as the driver but still they escalate by using tazor on a obviously scared individual while pulling driver door open leaving a opening to defend his life .

Cult of perpetual victimhood...
First off that poor man shot in self-defense. The sheriff kicked the old “I smell weed“ excuse to try to search the car. That man was recording the whole time, and refused To allow sheriffs To search his heart. He just left his grandmother’s house and try to drag him out of the car and That’s when he finally shot in self-defense.
That is nowhere remotely premeditated murder! when you have. 50,000 Volts going to your body from a taser, you’re gonna do whatever you can to stop that pain. These cups are off the hook with their abuse of authority especially especially women. She is the one that lied about smelling weed. It wasn’t even a felony car stop, and using tasers when somebody who’s already handicapped is just disgusted. With all due respect that sheriff brought that shooting on himself. He just can’t start electrocuted people that don’t wanna get out of the car . if I was ever on jury duty when that maze trial, I would not convict, it would be either be hung jury or an acquittal.
Oh, is that what happened you criminal bootlicker? He's getting the DP now, and his family going to jail too.
A taser isn't electrocution. It stuns. 50 kV, but at very low current; on the order of 3.5 milliamps... a 15 kV neon sign transformer is more dangerous. And that "poor man" was a felon in possession of a firearm, something he wasn't supposed to have in the first place. Besides, what did he have to fear by getting out of the car? We all know the answer.
@@pegbars He crossed the center line several times so the stop wasn't unlawful or harassment.
Whether he had pot or not doesn't matter because as it turned out he was a Felon with a Firearm.
Don't you think that's why he wouldn't get out when only one woman was there calling him Kenny and Brother.
If you're saying that felons driving recklessly and carrying a gun is acceptable that would go a long way towards describing the root cause of crime in America.
He traded 2 lives for a jail term.
You are a real idiot! Probably a felon yourself. Disrespectful punk
Your an idiot
All this because the cop lied about smelling weed
you literally know if they lied through video that's cool dude.
I thought he was drunk by how he was driving
Well he was a felon with a firearm soooo he was breaking the law.
The only one lying was the suspect. And now you.
He was a felon who was drunk, illegally carying a firearm and probably did have weed or other drugs for all we know. He didn't want to go back to prison which is why he was acting so desperate with the maipulative delay tactics.
