Lovely video Senan,nice set up..i got out on Lough derg for my first session of the yr on Friday...caught a 98cm,18lb pike so very happy with it..fishfinder gives a complete new dimension to fishing, i was finding loads of bait fish which really helped me.

Hey lesley! It’s hard to beat a mepps comet size 1 or 2 for small rivers ! Check out the fiiish powertail, Sakura phoxy minnow, rapala cd3,cd5, salmo minnow 5cm, siek wobbler !

Hey conor, so I’ve heard good things about lough Ennell for perch, but to be honest you will find perch nearly anywhere, this time of year the perch will be slowly moving from the deep water into the shallow water to start their spawning process, they will be super fat right now 👍

Dropshot pal, if you can keep a lure tight to the bottom it’s only a matter of time until you meet a shoal of perch, they are scattered everywhere.
