‘KARA’が7枚目のミニアルバム『In Love』で帰ってきた。

Since Youngji Hur joined in 2014, KARA has released "Mamma Mia" and proved it is definitely one of the top Korean girl groups. In May 2015, KARA will return with its unique style to charm the fans once again.
Making KARA's musical color and brightness stand out even more, the 7th mini-album [In Love] and its title song "CUPID" is by a new rising producer in the K-Pop scene, e.one (Choi Hyunjoon, Jung Hohyun). Man, I can't believe how rude and hateful "kpop" music fans can be. More-so than any other genre of music it seems. It seems we have "anti-youngji" fans here. That's seriously pathetic to go on about your dislike. Do you not have a life? You take pleasure in putting down a human being? I'm a KARA fan. And as much as I loved the lineup with Nicole and Jiyoung, I love how Youngji jumped into Roommate, and then a Japan concert which no doubt required crazy amounts of time to prep for (IE: learn ALL the KARA songs and routines, and re-record them), all while seemingly not missing a step, and if anything, heavily promoting KARA as a group all the while. Not bad for a "rookie" who joined a world-class team. IMHO she's doing a FANTASTIC job. And if you are a "real" KARA fan, you'd support her as she's doing nothing but good things. You guys who hate on her should look in the mirror and think hard about the real problems you have as a person.

I think they don't like that they disbanded with a "simple" or "easy" song like this. They could have done so much better but DSP gave them a quick cash grab song instead of a meaningful or artistic song. So it's sad to know their last song was a cookie cutter song by a cheap producer

Some people think this song is boring but if you really focus on the beats and vocals, this song is really a good a one. It's not as hype as Mamma Mia but this is more refreshing and they stepped up the game for KARA.

The song is really great and They are all beautiful especially Gyuri who looked like a beautiful Goddess that I thought that maybe she's Aphrodite's descendant. I'm a little bit disappointed on Seungyoon since she doesn't sing high notes much in this MV but she's still great. Hara just looked sexy here that I have to repeat her parts. Seungyeon didn't get the high notes here like she always does because nowadays, it's kinda a trend to give high notes to the lead singer instead of the main. Like how SM gave SNSD's lead vocals- tiffany the high notes even though Taeyeon is the main singer. So I think DSP is trying to change it up once in a while or follow the trend. All in all, Seungyeon's high notes are still the best, just like her vocals ♥️

I think Youngji's whisper rap fit really well. Gyuri's high note is the climax of the song so youngji's chill rap was supposed to be the climb up before the climax. It would have been to much to have Youngji did a crazy rap and then have Gyul do the high note.

My mind can't process the fact that Hara is gone. She's the first one I recognized in Kara because of her ponytail look. It's sad when you hear celebrities' passing but the feeling is tripled when it's a celebrity you looked up to. How I wish I could go back to 2nd gen of kpop where everyone's still there. I like this song. I find KARA just as cheerful and inspirational even though Nicole & Ji-young aren't there. Young-ji did her best and I think she did an excellent job in a high pressure situation. I like how she has the exact same personality as the other KARA members. Silly and goofy, she laughs at herself just as much as she laughs at her unnies. That's why she got along so well with Nicole & Ji-young in 2022 plus Young-ji is humble and respectful to her seonbaenims. I highly recommend their album Girl's Story.

+KCulture it sucks when a group disbands, but it sucks even more when it's part of the 2007 generation. I mean Sunny Hill is still up and running and they were never as successful as SNSD or Kara or Wonder Girls. So I'm shocked and a little scared about what might happen to any other groups. I know Kara because of her but I stay with Kara for their music and even when I haven´t being around Kara so long I think that they could make it with three members but you can´t deny that Youngji helped them a lot she brought new fans like me and a lot of IGot7 who ship Jackji. ps. gaining fame from a reality show doesn't really show talent. They could have chosen *any other member* of Kara for the show but because she was new they had to promote her (a lot) more than other members. Now she is like the queen even though basically she's just a rookie riding along the backs of the veteran/older members. I feel sad for the other members being overshadowed by this new girl. Just thinking about it gets me angry. Ugh!
***** While I do agree that Newbies coming in from a Youngji stance via Roommate will not be able to grasp the wounds of long time Kamilias, it is also not right for "Hurting" Long time Kamilias to let those wounds bleed out and effect a newbie who is trying her best to be accepted and help showcase a fresher side to a Veteran Group. Kara as a whole is a very talented group other wise they wouldn't have lasted this long and it's something to be grateful for. I don't really understand the dislike or hard feelings toward Youngji at all. It is not like DSP kicked JiYoung and Nicole out, they chose to pursue other ventures and venues outside of just being in a Kpop girl group and it's not like Youngji just came along, pulled a few strings and "viola". The girl worked her butt off for years prior to even getting the opportunity to enter DSP or opportunity to have a chance to tryout and become a Kara Team Player. From what I've seen, she's a natural born dancer, a fast learner and her vocals are better than that of what I've heard from a number of girls in other popular groups. Having a naturally humble yet cheerful and optimistic demeanor is just the icing on the cake for a rookie like her and seeing those characteristics on a reality show such as Roommate, of course would draw out many more fans even if they came from just watching a show. I don't see how she's riding along the backs of others or how she overshadows the others. If a person is noticed for something positive it just sticks around in the back of people's minds for a long time. Given time I believe she will become an asset to Kara if she isn't already and if I may point out myself, even the older members of the group felt this during the Baby Kara Competition which is why Youngji herself is standing beside them. My advice, even though it's understandable and weird to have to accept what cannot be changed, do try not to look at the situation or the people involved through a narrow scope and keep an open mind.
I really hope the rumours are not true; these girls have been my life for 4 years. It will truly break my heart if they were to disband but I understand if Gyuri, Seungyeon, and Hara would want to pursue other things; I love them so much and I will always support them no matter what.
