I just like to listen to you talk and talk. Everything that comes out of your mouth is flowers and it’s golden and it’s pure wonder. Keep inspiring, Emma! 🌸✨
This is a very e.e. cummings-ish compliment and I second it!
Very true!
I envy anyone who gets to keep here company IRL
is it just me or is her voice so soothing ;-; I totally relate to the beach thing :( so sad
what a lovely mindset to live your life in! will definitely be looking out for my favorite day this month
emma! i bet you've had a bunch of comments on how cozy and comforting your vlogs are, but since i am this early, i would have say, thank you, thank you, thank you for making them! i'm finishing my PhD very soon (hopefully) and it's been a struggle to be working alone from home. i then found your vlogs and having you talk about books and bookish stuff in the background while i'm working on my data feels like having a supportive friend around :) i truly love how straightforward you are when you're talking about books (the good, the bad, and the ugly lol) yet it still feels really warm, haha. God bless!
@@sofie7437 yess we'll get through this!!
You're so welcome! That makes me so happy - eep that's so exciting as well, sending you so much support you got this!!
@@emmiereads i'm doing marine geophysics :) nowhere near literature i know, but reading a bit of fiction in the morning has been the best way to reduce my anxiety before i truly work on my data. sometimes i wish i could read more, but listening to your reading experiences make me feel like i'm reading those books with you!
i've already said that but emma your remind me so much of Marianne from the show normal people, both phisically (she's stunningly beautiful) and personality wise because just like you she's verry deep, smart and delicate. anyways i love you and your videos because i find them calming and just generally wholesome. and you are such a sweet and delicate soul. ciao from italy!!
Great book as well btw Emma, if you’re reading. Both Sally Rooney’s novels so far have been fantastic.
so true! I loved both the book and the series.
grazie mille
06:33 “and now I’m gonna cry for no reason” 😂 that’s. So me.
my friends bully me for liking ginger snaps so i appreciate the solidarity, ha. i'm trying to get more into tea so i also appreciate the recs!
You make me so happy, you have no idea! 💞 Thanks to you, for me this year didn’t end with just 4 books read. Ever since I’ve discovered your channel (about a month ago more or less) , I’ve read over 17 books! I’ve discovered so many incredible books that have enhanced my life. Truly thank you from the bottom of my heart for existing and being you, I wish you all the happiness in the world ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
My favourite day was the 30th to the 31st where my niece (just turned 13) and I had a Halloween slumber party, with pumpkin soup, candy and Tim Burton movies 😁 and a few days ago she asked "so aunty, when are we doing a Christmas one?" Sooo recommendations are much appreciated 😁
I can't wait to read The Turn of the Screw with you all! Love all your videos : )
Your videos are literally my comfort videos on UA-cam
I couldn't agree more with you on the jazz - I love it so! It calms me down, and can make me cozy as well as ebullient. My mood just improves. I listen to a lot of older, vintage recordings (20s through the 60s) but I do enjoy some contemporary jazz bands like Pink Martini, The Squirrel Nut Zippers (more of a swing band style and they have a Christmas album, too!) and others. My husband brought me home White Christmas Tea from Barnes & Noble's cafe. It's from Harney & Sons, comes in a pretty tin and is white tea w/ vanilla & almond flavors. My new favorite tea! And this season I'm making a lot of hot drinks, despite the fact that I live in South Florida, lol. I keep a Fall and Wintery panorama in my head! (From NY originally so I do miss seasons even after 25 years living in "humidity-central"). I don't drink coffee (tum-tum issues!) but I do the herbal alternative Dandy Blend (it mixes instantly in hot water or plant milk) and it's so smooth & delicious. So, often I'll whip up a vegan gingerbread latte or something similar. You're right - this year has been challenging in many respects. I wish you comfort and peace and am grateful that your videos have brought me same. :)
Perfect way to start the day 🥰
that tombstone looks so magical ✨
That nook is so incredibly cozy
I love these kinds of videos so much, so sweet, relaxing and feel good and always fun to see what others enjoy and learn how we could enjoy different things.
I really love these videos, Emma. It's so nice hearing the magic you find in your life and a joy to listen to you speak about things you love. I know that these videos will be precious for you to come back to as well. Keep on being you, Emma.
I also have a favourite day of the month! Or not so much a favourite but the day i was the happiest. It's great for our self-esteem making the effort to remember these things 😊
this is nearly the best comfortable vlog that I have seen this year.
One of the brightest things in my month was discovering your channel! Thanks for all the smiles and recommendations. Your nook looks so cozy! Love your chair! Stay safe Emma!
emma, i've been having a very difficult semester mental-health wise and have been experiencing burn out after burn out, and overall just haven't been feeling like myself in awhile.. i hadn't picked up a book outside of my class readings in months. i've been absolutely binging your videos, especially vlogs lately, and you have inspired me so much - i've begun reading again and just have felt so much more at peace the past couple of weeks, taking my days slowly and mindfully, and i have your content to thank for part of that shift in mindset. thank you so much for your channel, you've brought me back to myself again in a way - even if that sounds dramatic, it's very true. all the best
Your favorite day sounds so nice! I actually had a day like that with my mom this week, we went to the beach and walked around in comfortable silence, and just existed next to each other. When you said it was your favorite day it made me think of my day and it really has been my favorite of the month.
I think i'll keep this faves thing for next month as well!
Howl's moving castle music on the harp is my favorite thing to listen to and my daughter and I spent the day at the park feeding the ducks it was beautiful my favorite day of the month so far. Amazing video!!!
I love listening to you talking about your favourite things. Your videos are really very calming, love from Egypt!!
I am so happy that you and your mom had a fun day together. You book nook and victorian chair is beautiful. Awesome video.
thinking about a favourite day is such a nice way to live your days and i will be trying it for sure much love! (i'm also currently reading phantom of the opera because of you and it's great!)
omg yes a new video!! you’ve inspired me so much emmie! 💓
Your videos have become a part of my night routine. Perfect thing to end the day with. Thank you for existing ❤️ much love from Bahrain! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I always feel like I learn something new and meaningful when I watch your videos to apply to my life. Also, it's so nice to find a BookTuber who adores Phantom as much as I do. It's the best feeling in the world. My favorite day of the month had to have been my one year wedding anniversary where my husband made us blueberry muffins for breakfast, we went for a walk, and then had some of the best Greek food for dinner. If you're looking for good coffee: I must recommend Bones Coffee.
I'm just starting out making bookish videos on UA-cam and your channel is giving me so much inspiration! I love love love the candles/coffee/books vibe you have going on :)
this month hasn't been the best mental-health wise, but watching your videos before going to bed or just when I'm feeling extra anxious really calms me down and I can't even begin to explain how much you help me get through every single day. I discovered your channel about a month ago so it's definitely an october favorite for me. thank you so much for existing and sharing your absolutely beautiful content on here. also, do you have any black tea recommendations? I would love to try some new black teas. hope you have a great week :)
I feel like this lady would help me across the street if I was old
Your voice is so soothing😭💕
This video gave me so much peace :D Ur voice is so calming~
Hi Emma! You are so inspiring and I really love your videos, it just reminds me to calm down and appreciate things for what they are and not rush things. My faves this month have been: 1. The haunting of hill house by Shirley Jackson, very very good and interesting and I just want to pick it apart and put it back together again. 2. Daal, this Indian lentil stew that reminds me a lot of gingerbread cookies honestly. Super cozy and cheap, you can eat it with bread or any grain and for days and days. 3. I’ve been listening to Agatha Christie books and going on walks. So cozy. 4. I’ve been an intern at a doggy daycare center for like 1,5 years and I might get a job soon, like one that pays money! Anyway, hope you have a great November!
You should do podcast, your voice is so much calming it’s like I can hear anything and everything. ❤️
My favourite chai/ tea is the taj mahal brand, I don't know if you get them over there but if you do try drinking it with 60:40 milk water thing. And put ginger in it! Tastes amazing (also the most common way we drink it here)
Tea recommendation: Harney and Sons Paris tea. It's black tea with vanilla and black currant, and it's seriously so delicious, I think you would really like it.
Your voice is so therapeutic! I love how you talk about books and authors and words.....it's lovely, and oh so magical! I wish I could be like that on my booktube channel! Or even garner as many views/followers as you deserve and have!
your reading chair is sooo beautiful and omg I wish I'd have it
I love your mug and your channel please stay safe love from Australia xxx
I would recommend the band The Reign of Kindo, some of my favourite music comes from them!
You are my one the favourites UA-camr ❤️
I just went and ordered the Phantom of the opera, earlier today, based on your videos! I am also planning to read my own copy of " Snow country", translated in greek, in the next few weeks ( called Η χώρα του Χιονιού in the Greek translation). I am mentioning it, because I have not heard anyone else but you talking about that book! Greetings from Greece.
enjoyed the DA live show - hope to be there for the next one - Thx!
I recommend YogiTea's Heartwarming tea with basil, chili and orange peel! It makes me feel very cosy and winter-y :)
Gnocchi, yummmm!
I get very good vibes from you🥰
Awesome video, really helped me destress, I like this aesthetic and video theme !! Best wishes from San Luis Obispo !
I'm Japanese. I love your tone of the voice😁
Hello, Emmie !! Just wanted to say that your voice is really soothing and comforting, especially during these trying times. Whenever I feel bit under the weather, I come here. There is a certain cozy feel to your videos. Have you thought narrating audiobooks (poems, letters and such)?
You, as always, are very lovely.
your outfit is gorgeous
Korean corn tea is probably my favourite tea of all time
i love the effort you put into every video, your voice is so calming and i’m so grateful i found your channel, don’t forget that Jesus loves you💗

My fave teas are by a brand called pukka. Don't know if you can get them outside of the UK.
I loved that you mentioned your fave day, such a cosy, lovely video.

David's Tea! :)
Practicing singing. Do you make singing videos?
Ive been listening to this jazzy autumn playlist 🍂 ua-cam.com/video/guJvelRueDE/v-deo.html
Also Harney and Sons chocolate tea! 🍫
Ciao Emma, mi piace molto i tuoi video.
When is your birthdate?
