Im glad you took time to even voice a guide for this game because every single higher up beginners guide had no voice and that is incredibly annoying. I just wanted to absorb some stuff while driving. but when you are using things how about actually explain why. Like what the junctions did. And why it's good later to have all your resources on seperated conveyors. And a new players doesn't even have half the structures unlocked. Just some constructive criticism. Like for example you put down combustion generators. Simply add that they are the basic for of power generation and generally how many of your silicon generators can be powered by one.
@@johnsmith-mx8ds yeah that explains dude. When I played this game I read about what everything does and how does it do it almost like it's my text book, put my full focus to it but nah this game becomes frustrating, and for me who's playing on a phone, it gets a hell load of hard when you have to swipe over the entire map to fix up broken weaps. And defence and structure.
@@sovereignsov i don't even think this game had a sandbox mode when I made this lol. This game is one of my beloved fav mobile games. Just top.notch. it's depressing I just can't find time to play it anymore.

This sadly doesn't mention how crucial pausing the game is. I would say it's one of the most important tips mainly for newbies who struggle with prodution designs, but also invaluable tip for anyone in later levels which spawn enemies faster and stronger - *PAUSE THE GAME FOR THINKING, UNPAUSE FOR EXECUTING!* The time you save in-game will become much more rewarding later on as you gain more and more income of resources. Basically saving 1 minute in the early game grants you +1 minute of farming resources before you decide to leave in your end-game, and at that point it's damn better investment to spend time being idle than in the early game where you have no income to speak of. Also it makes game easier since you get more things done between waves = more resources to spend on defenses.
I think pausing is important sure but it's best practice to avoid doing this if you want to play multiplayer or pvp. In those modes you are not going to be able to keep up because you have not played without using pausing as a crutch. So use it sure but realize the best way to improve is in between design optimization and real time gameplay.
@@AtannerGaming Sure, but for a newbie who doesn't even know how to start graphite production, it's best to learn with paused game throughout campaign and get faster the more you understand the game since you aren't going to be much idle when you have learned pattern of what to do first, second, etc. I wouldn't suggest multiplayer to newbies in the first place as they would only slow down the other player and waste resources on inefficient designs, or get absolutely wrecked in PvP by more experienced players who know how every structure works. Maybe play multiplayer to learn basics faster, but knowing all the most efficient designs from the start kind of takes away the creativity you get in singleplayer when dealing with the problems yourself, but that falls down to preference I guess.
I am not really big fan of pvp.when i join hexed the game already started mid and i just get tit and sin i just get rush by lots of stuff.and team pvp is just pathetic.they don't add water to laser or air drills but spam them .and watse alot of space.failed designs

in my opinion, now that theres the update where you can capture a sector, you should capture the craters and make a huge graphite farm so you can bring some with you to the level and have pneumatic drills instantly. 104 IQ
Alternative sector is the 175 which is next to ground zero, has every resources but thorium in big chunks, its more of plast factory sector than graphite though. I go there and got silicon and graphite before the frozen forest
A surprisingly good guide for such a small channel I have recently got this on my phone it seemed like it would be much simpler haha but it is really cool
I like the idea of the video. I don't think you did a very great job at explaining though. Instead of saying "do this and that" I think it could be a lot more useful for the new player to go "This does that, and is useful for situations like those". This way it's actually teaching and leaving space for new designs to be made.
Thanks Rage. I'll be making more content soon about mindustry. I wanted to finish some things on the servers first though so I did not make any guides etc where the info would be outdated quickly.
Look I tried doing routers and there's no progress it'll keep doing it equally with overflow gates it tries to fill it 1 by 1 and after a few mins it'll all fill up faster than a router
Correction: It only unlocks left and right ways(belts) if the front way is blocked/overflowing in items, this makes sure that no items is just sitting there collecting dust
Tip if you have power you can use laser drill on every ore except the more advanced ones only recommend this for noobs and me blast drills is for pros because its verry expensive so I recommend laser drill 😊

Your starter guide is amazing but while your making you graphite factory the first time you need to place the sorter right beside the router if not then the last two presses won't get any coal ant it would be just waster of space and resources. Just saying. And this guide is really great.
