  • Crank Removal Tool: www.amazon.com...
This video shows how to remove, as well as, install a window crank handle. Most people don't own the specialized manufactured tool for removing crank handles. The fact is, you can make your own out of any thin metal. I show how I remove the handle with ease, and then show the trick on how to install it. Anyone can do this. Thanks for watching, sharing, commenting and subscribing!

The half way install is the ticket for me. Thanks!

yes! There's a couple notches molded in to the plastic. I'm guessing that's the point of them, since they hold this clip perfectly in place.

Thanks! Much leas intimidating than I thought. Done in less than a minute. Listened to my kid complain about not having a functional window for months for no reason. Ha.

What say, Phil! Good job! I never thought of putting the clip on 1/2 way. If Id done that maybe I wouldn't have to beat it on with a hammer and bust the glass out. Oh well. Now I farm it out.LOTS cheaper than the hammer of choice method. Hope yall are on kitty overload. Raining here and mowing when it ain't. So remain calm and have a JESUS weekend and GBWYall!

It took me several head-scratching sessions before I tried the half-on method. It looks like that's how the thing is designed now that I've done it. My youngest boy has this truck now, and the speakers were blown. Had to take the door panel off to put the new speakers in. (video is coming July 24th on that).
Been raining nonstop here. The garden is loving it. Going to put out a line over night on the river tonight and check it in the morning. Life is good. Sure is good hearing from you, Lewie! GBWU2!

@@PhilCrockettI just beat them on and they went............eventually. I had the little runner things replaced in the Taco windows and just farmed it out and was done with it. I knew it'd be BAD if I tried it. It has a fancy stock stereo that doesn't work Oh well. Good heater and a.c. though. It rains here all the time anyway so no real surprises unless the sun comes out! Hope you get a kitty to take home! GBWYall and He IS Good!

Another good how to vid, as well as a new use for that old school roach clip that's no longer used... Thanks for sharing.

I worked in a procedural area in the hospital for many years. Tweezers would come in a sterile kit, and each one would be thrown away if they didn't use it. I've got a bag of these things. I've never done drugs, so I guess these things will have to sit there in my shop until I find better use for them. Thanks for watching and commenting, Grant!

indeed. The worse part is trying to find the clip when it flies into the lawn.

I actually had to research the proper name of this when I was editing this video. When I was a kid, my dad always called it a window knob...... but that really doesn't make any sense.
