I only use bows in free aim mode to take out trash mobs (or dangerous non-respawning enemies) from a safe distance or the high ground. And also for the bird.

ok one thing, you didn't use bows to the max potential cus you kept radan bow equiped so the blue dancer charm didn't apply it's effect. i've used bows on 3 seperate runs and it was one of the easiest weapon classes because you didn't have to dodge too much. edit: jump and roll attacks are also very good, it should be your main attack option. There is also an attack after jump attack when you land. another way to defeat malenia is by facing backwards when you shoot and correct with aiming with greatbows. Arcane is also one of the best stats to lvl
For Varre's quest if you kill that particular NPC you invade it will advance the questline. You can either kill him or invade him three times. Both works.
I've actually started using a Radahn build on my Seamless Co-op character. His greatswords and the Lion Greatbow As a compliment to a build, the Lion Greatbow is actually really good. Switch over, pop Radahn's Rain after a stagger, do some damage with the swords. It's not AMAZING damage, but I believe it's the best bow in the game? Or at least one of them. It's pretty fun, just wish they were a little more viable.
yea to be fair i am terrible with bow but im sure someone like you could bring out the max potential keep going and let me know how it goes sometime in stream maybe :)
