You know, I didn't expect this level of charisma, positivity and quality from a relatively small channel. I seldom leave comments but I genuinely think you deserve the extra interaction. Keep up the good work mate
Bringing it up because you didn't mention it during the DS2 portion: the Vanquisher's Seal ring from the Covenant of Champions makes your unarmed fists actually do *more* damage than a fully upgraded Caestus (though the Caestus is buffable so has potential for higher). Granted this video was more focused on being a Caestus only run rather than Fist & Fist Weapons only, and farming awestones is a bit of a grind (50 kills of the same NPC in Doors of Pharros pushing them off the bridge), but there's something so funny about going around and doing massive damage with bare fists that I think would fit the vibe of showcasing the punching potential of DS2. Maybe it could be a future video on its own where you combine it with playing the whole game in Covenant of Champions or doing a no armor no weapon run or something to balance out the challenge of it.
50:28 According to the Collector's Edition guide, those basilisks are "sand basilisks", they burrow underneath the sand and ambush their prey from below, so they probably ended up evolving to lose the big fake eyes so they could camouflage themselves in the sand more effectively :^)
Omg the goat is back!!! Been rewatching your other dark souls videos every few weeks or so. Was worried we’d never see you again😢😢. Keep up the amazing work we all love you’re content soooooooo much
Just found this channel from your previous upload, and I'm already being rewarded with another video of what I'm sure is pure suffering. I am absolutely here for it.
Funny enough the moth at 42:12 is a secret enemy that is placed in a bunch of obscure, hard to reach areas throughout the game. Some people have done challenge runs trying to find them all.
I love that fists slowly became more viable as time went on with souls games. Now in Elden Ring, some of the most OP builds are made with fist weapons (the caestus is usually outclassed but it’s completely viable nonetheless).
Man, this is so relaxing. Also yeah, DS2 Cestus is a power fantasy for most of the game. I only ran into trouble once I got to the throne watcher and defender and that's because I'm not very good with multibosses. Though, funnily enough, I thought the R1 moves were generally more efficient than L1? It's been a while but I seem to remember stamina and animation commitment on L1 not adding up with the damage (I had higher DPS with R1, I'm trying to say)
great video! a few things to mention: yes i would love to watch some videos of wilds when it comes out, i think that'd be a blast! and also loved the dbz tangent as someone who's just gotten into the series recently after putting it off so much the original series has so much love poured into it that i adore it.
Also - you're not the only one here hyped for Wilds As MH fan, i cant WAIT for Oct 30th Also also - just like a suggestion? i guess, if you want something different Windblown just got released, it's rougelike from creators of Dead Cells Really fun nice game, also you can play with friends!
I am leaving a comment here because in DS2 you could have caused more pain to yourself by farming awestones and using the champions covenant to insanely buff your base fists to some wild dmg
Nice job using the caestus to beat everyone up. I've been wanting to do my own one-weapon only marathon for a bit and I beat Dark Souls 1 with just the Bastard Sword. Gonna start DS2 soon and hope for the best.
Monstwr Hunter Tri was my first and is still one of my favorites to return to. The systems are competent and enriching, great levels, and fun monsters we haven't seen for a long time.
a DS challenging run. controller button input randomizer. a change every few minutes. A friend and I did something like this when Microsoft Mixer was still around. We collapsed laughing.
Your commentary is really good. I would in fact have fun watching you play Minecraft instead of Dark Souls challenge runs, if the commentary is similarly fun.
I would be down to watch ER challenge runs. The user critic reviews sound pretty funny. Also the youtuber Miss Chalice has a voice role in arch thrones.
Hey man i feel for ya I also got, got by a job telling me "up to" 30hrs a week. That's when I learned to listen closely to what is said during on boarding and looked up labor laws for my state. Best wishes😊
Kudos on the fist only run! Yeah I remember how awful Vordt was on my own fist only run, I do wish the caestus was at least available in the first area on the run up to him but it feels good when it's finally all done smacking those thighs and taint with your bare fists.
Man is so spam dodging pilled that he didn’t realize the ds3 caestus are a heavy weapon. Perseverance gives you poise and a defense buff on demand, meaning a caestus heavy armor build is one of the best tanks in the game
I personally loved GT because it did a lot of things different in a great way. A lot of people hated it because it was pretty much solely focused on Goku, with Vegeta becoming important in the latter half. The choice to make goku into a kid was also polarizing. Personally, I feel like GT was an homage to the OG DragonBall. The villains were interesting outside of a few dumb ones, the story was great. The final arc, the Shadow Dragon saga, actually gave them consequences for abusing the dragonballs constantly. The Baby arc gave us a mind controlled super saiyan vegeta in a golden oozaru form and Super Saiyan 4 was badass. GT seriously gets too much hate
I rarely interact with UA-cam videos but man, loved the video, loved your positive attitude towards life, and I wish you all the best in your passions and career endeavors! Cheers brother, will definitely be back
Have you ever considered doing soulsborne bingo. The goal is to fill a bingo board. These obviously are just bosses or weapons. These can include glitches. It's just something fun that people may like.
When you’re stressed out in your voice I can kinda see the Chris Griffin comparisons. But overall you just generally have a nice sounding voice. Edit: Kinda Disappointed you didn’t also do the DLCs. Edit 2: I like the Shrine of Amana… but only for the sound track
I love how I completely forgot this was a dark souls run cause of the Dragonball rant. DBGT is a lot weaker than the rest, but it's not like horrible to watch or anything. Definitely a case of something being shit on more than it deserves. It's not even close to the other stuff in quality, but it will be far from the worst thing you will ever watch. Also very fun video, glad this got recommended :)
My first, and so far only, Dark Souls was DS3. In my first playthrough I expected it to be very difficult, as all the autists online make the series up to be, but it was alright, apart from absolute spasmatic attack and jumping spam some enemies do. Although I remember, that for some weird reason Abyss Watchers gave me a lot of trouble.
If you're doing whips for the entire trilogy, Just know that the Whips in DS2 are also Goated. Also, I like the Shrine of Amana, but for how it looks and because it's a good place to farm Twinkling Titanite. Everything else about it sucks balls. Also, also, I feel like I should mention an obscure thing about The Shrine. There is a bridge with Dragonrider on it, but past the bridge, there's a Suspicious Wooden Door. It's locked and I was looking for a way to unlock it, but there were barely any answers around, until I read a comment on a reddit post saying that the only way to unlock it is to meet King Vendrick in his Memory In Hollow Vendrick's boss room and you need to be human in order to unlock that room. In the room, there's an item in there, The Kings Soul, which is a Boss Soul that has Weapons you can get, you just need to go "Right down the road!"
I’m a slut for souls challenge runs. Another great one. Right up there with JK and backlogs! Keep it up and take however long you need to make more content!
Imo DBGT is the better sequel to DBZ. Since it was produced right after DBZ it also has the same Artstyle than Z, not the overly sterile and CGI-enhanced look that Super brings to the table. Most people dislike it because its not based on Akira Toriyama's manga of Dragonball, so its considered non canon. But i think they captured the charme of good old Dragonball/Z really well. It feels like a combination of Dragonball and DBZ, since it got adventure and fighting arcs. And yeah, sometimes it feels a bit weird since everyone powers down like Goku, since he literally is powered down, but when he reaches his old scaling, everyone else powers back up as well and even goes beyond what Z offered (and even Super imo). So yeah, i would totally say you should give DBGT a try. It will be a fun weekend or so. I also hope you watched the uncensored versions of DB and DBZ since there is quite a lot missing in the cut versions that sometimes even ruin the story or "gravity" of some situations. DBGT surely got some weird or akward moments, but all of them have those ^^
You know, I didn't expect this level of charisma, positivity and quality from a relatively small channel. I seldom leave comments but I genuinely think you deserve the extra interaction. Keep up the good work mate
Seriously, and he has such a great laugh, too!
"What is wrong with you?!" Was my exclamation right as I settled in to watch
Bringing it up because you didn't mention it during the DS2 portion: the Vanquisher's Seal ring from the Covenant of Champions makes your unarmed fists actually do *more* damage than a fully upgraded Caestus (though the Caestus is buffable so has potential for higher).

I love how just punching shit is a viable and fun build in DkS2.
Especially once you max out covenant of champions and get the ring that makes you do 200 fist damage
Bonefist is great too.
Ds2 had the best builds. So many unique weapons and you could make everything viable
10:50 undead said "you're not the only one with a strength build check these pull ups"
50:28
According to the Collector's Edition guide, those basilisks are "sand basilisks", they burrow underneath the sand and ambush their prey from below, so they probably ended up evolving to lose the big fake eyes so they could camouflage themselves in the sand more effectively :^)
You have so much charisma and a great laugh. I’ll definitely be sticking around and am looking forward to more videos
great video man! thank you for putting in the time to make these!
Omg the goat is back!!! Been rewatching your other dark souls videos every few weeks or so. Was worried we’d never see you again😢😢. Keep up the amazing work we all love you’re content soooooooo much
would love to see some monster hunter content, very excited for wilds next year!
your voice and laugh is actually so nice it feels like the sun on a pleasant day
9:50 "i feel like thats a cartoon voice"
cracks the cartoon character
Just found this channel from your previous upload, and I'm already being rewarded with another video of what I'm sure is pure suffering. I am absolutely here for it.
Glad the algorithm recommended you. Keep doing the Soulstube, you’re a good one.
Funny enough the moth at 42:12 is a secret enemy that is placed in a bunch of obscure, hard to reach areas throughout the game. Some people have done challenge runs trying to find them all.
Hope everything starts looking up for you man!! Good to see you back.
I love that fists slowly became more viable as time went on with souls games. Now in Elden Ring, some of the most OP builds are made with fist weapons (the caestus is usually outclassed but it’s completely viable nonetheless).
The 4-ish months were worth it, glad you’re back
42:35 You’re not alone. Never seen that before. *loads up Sotfs to check
Man, this is so relaxing.

Probably the goat
great video! a few things to mention: yes i would love to watch some videos of wilds when it comes out, i think that'd be a blast! and also loved the dbz tangent as someone who's just gotten into the series recently after putting it off so much the original series has so much love poured into it that i adore it.
YES NEW VID. IM SO EXITED
One - discovered you recently by UA-cam recommendations' grace
Your vids are an absolute bangers
Two - all DS bow only
And no, i'm not sorry
Also - you're not the only one here hyped for Wilds
As MH fan, i cant WAIT for Oct 30th
Also also - just like a suggestion? i guess, if you want something different
Windblown just got released, it's rougelike from creators of Dead Cells
Really fun nice game, also you can play with friends!
The full trilogy play through should become a regular thing
I am leaving a comment here because in DS2 you could have caused more pain to yourself by farming awestones and using the champions covenant to insanely buff your base fists to some wild dmg
I love monster hunter so much, I'd love to see some challenge runs of some of em or even just chill gameplay
My goat is back
I'd love to see you do some challenge run on Elden Ring. Or even just some more casual playthrough from time to time!
Great video by the way.
THE LORD HAS RETURNED - AND HE BROUGHT UPON US A CHALLANGE! Great video mate!
Nice job using the caestus to beat everyone up. I've been wanting to do my own one-weapon only marathon for a bit and I beat Dark Souls 1 with just the Bastard Sword. Gonna start DS2 soon and hope for the best.
I enjoyed video it was fun and i will play iceborne with you if needed
The Goat of game selections fr, monster hunter and outer wilds alone elevate you to peak
You should definitely do Monster Hunter vids too :)
NEW PROBABLYGOAT VIDEO LET'S GOOO I love ur vids dude
Monstwr Hunter Tri was my first and is still one of my favorites to return to. The systems are competent and enriching, great levels, and fun monsters we haven't seen for a long time.
I like how you can tell this video is pretty unscripted, it's funny how he just rambles on while relentlessly punching some random creature
holy shit yes
I would love to see an Elden Ring video, also loved your content and am now subscribed!
My favourite soulstuber is back!
you're actually insane for this
Funfact: The Basilic's real eyes are quite tiny, those big "eyes" are just for distraction.
Just stumbled across you, you're funny AF, New Sub!
a DS challenging run. controller button input randomizer. a change every few minutes. A friend and I did something like this when Microsoft Mixer was still around. We collapsed laughing.
Quality work brother.
Fun fact: My very first ds2 playtrough was a Cestus only. I liked it so much and it was my fav weapon at that time 😅
15:08 I AMMM !!!! I ACTUALLY CANT WAIT FOR IT TO COME OUT IUAHGH
In dark souls 2 the scaling for the caestus is insane. Also jump attack for the little blue blighters.
Elden Ring Fist Weapons are unironically some of the best pve builds. Fist charged r2s do some crazy stance damage.
Yay!!! Welcome back 💕
The Little Mac run! Lets go.
If you sound like anyone it's this COD Zombies youtuber named Tim Hansen. Another great channel.
Omg!! Hey, I’m the Reddit gal! I’m so glad you’re actually back, I’ve been waiting!
Thanks for waiting! I've got more videos cooking in the oven right now, maybe I can get them out sooner rather than later.
I would love to see a whip only run lol, also that moth you saw in ds2 is only in scholar edition if you want "limit breakers" made a video about it
Your commentary is really good.
I would in fact have fun watching you play Minecraft instead of Dark Souls challenge runs, if the commentary is similarly fun.
Great vid man
that frampt pic would be perfect for a shitpost with some 360 era insult
Perfect video to put on while I'm making stupid money smithing in bannerlord 😂
Beat the entire souls trilogy with bow only (can use greatbows and things like that).
it would be very fun
Did this myself recently only because I liked naming my character "Many Punch Guy" lol

My goat DS2 having decent fist weapons (and fists) ❤
Man is so spam dodging pilled that he didn’t realize the ds3 caestus are a heavy weapon. Perseverance gives you poise and a defense buff on demand, meaning a caestus heavy armor build is one of the best tanks in the game
21:30 id watch a minecraft lets play. fuckin love minecraft. also im kinda sad you didn't get the dragon bone fists from the ice dlc in DS2
insanity
Te set of armor of the npc of the covenant that is before the horse boss give more soul gain then the tseldororas

hell yeah brother good video
Have you ever considered doing soulsborne bingo. The goal is to fill a bingo board. These obviously are just bosses or weapons. These can include glitches. It's just something fun that people may like.
41:56 But the conversation about Roblox is just beginning lol 😂
You definitely sound like the VA for Joker in Mass Effect.
I have a character in DS1 called The Fister and I also started as pyromancer purely so I could punch with the pyromancy flame until I got the caestus
Have a good day, silly goat!
You definitely deserve it after this run…
When you’re stressed out in your voice I can kinda see the Chris Griffin comparisons.
But overall you just generally have a nice sounding voice.
Edit: Kinda Disappointed you didn’t also do the DLCs.
Edit 2: I like the Shrine of Amana… but only for the sound track
51:26 What was that? Beating all the games with only whips? Or whoops? 🤣
The 4 levels of liking ds2
1. Hate the game
2. Give it a chance
3. Start liking ironically
4. Love the game

Also very fun video, glad this got recommended :)
Need a god run punching only… would be worlds first too I think
Would love to see a skibidi run next
Good luck fighting raging brachy!!!!
One of the most insane fights in the game, lol
@@probablygoat9119 btw theres a pretty big crossover between mh players and dark souls players so I would totally watch mh related challenges
"It's my sleepover, I choose the movie!"
I like the part when the skeletons and the bug.
never played monster hunter but id watch a few vids on it dude!
As a 30+ year old I don't understand Minecraft and you summed it up pretty well for me to not want to play it.
HES ALIVE!

What I expected : fisting boss
What we got : punching balls lmao

Is it weird that i fall asleep to dark souls challenge runs?
Also, gotta ask cuz i love deathcore, whos your favorite desthcore band?
I’m a slut for souls challenge runs. Another great one. Right up there with JK and backlogs! Keep it up and take however long you need to make more content!
As a fellow Dragon Ball Fan, I think GT isn't as bad as Super, personally. Keep up the good work, enjoy life.
Fucking mad lad going through shrine of amana without a bow. I feel like it should be a exception lol
Imo DBGT is the better sequel to DBZ. Since it was produced right after DBZ it also has the same Artstyle than Z, not the overly sterile and CGI-enhanced look that Super brings to the table. You won yourself a turkish sub i like to listen you brother
It baffled me he's played ds3 modded and u modded and 1. Didn't know you could 2 hand the caestus and 2. Didn't get the demon fists for this run
And he never even used the caestus’ weapon art. Perseverance is amazing
PLEASE DO MAKE MONTSER HUNTER VIDEOS!
ESPECIALLY THOSE HOUR LONG ONES LOL
