You are a true inspiration debby...! Your artwork is wonderful with so much great layered detail and I really appreciate your stream-of-consciousness expression as you put the masterpieces together. I actually slowed the middle part down in the settings to .25 for a couple of minutes to see more of your specific techniques and your choices but put it back to normal toward the end. You are a TRUE talent; thank you for sharing and making so many of us believe we can possibly do something similar. Take care
Thank you so much Debby, I really really love ❤️ this canvas. It’s really really stunning and gorgeous too, and all those little details have come to life. Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags
I had not seen any of your videos before but, I just love your canvas and watching the process. I have not tried a gel plate yet but I sure loved watching you use it! I love cityscapes for some reason.
SO glad I came across this video. It is helpful to watch the process as it goes along, but even more so hear your thinking about why you use certain colors, or change certain things. Thank you! Subscribing now.
Lovely and inspiring. I have painted cityscapes in the past but never thought of doing collage to create the buildings. This is a beautiful art piece and the details are delightful.
I love it, Debby! Those details really make it special, and that texture is just sublime! Would never think to use some of the color combos you used, and they worked fabulously! Huge fan! Thanks for sharing!
LOVE your piece! I just wish I could see faster!! I blinked and missed out on how you made those beautiful windows and doors!! I'm glad to have found this on Google Plus. Thanks for sharing! :-)
Awesome piece, Debby! Looks like you had loads of fun making it! Hope to see you at your next stream. Missed out on the turtle. -- The Silver Screen Corn
Wow! That is so beautiful! I am an artist and I love multi media, Ive never seen anything like this! I do not use a gel pad, dont know how. I use collage with acrylics and gels, pastes and canvas/ paper.
Thank you. I use the gelli plate to make my own printed papers to use in collage. It is one of the best art tools I have invested in along with stencils
I love this piece. I'll be honest with you....I have a tendancy to skip thru the boring parts of an art video....but I watched every minute of this one. I love your prints....the colors were great. The little fire escapes, signs, etc. really made the piece so interesting. Good job!!!!!
Hi Debby, Sorry if you always answer a question like this, but: How long do you let the paint sit between layers on the gelli plate? I love your art, by the way. Gorgeous. Lynda
it depends which technique I am using. I usually work wet layers onto dry layers unless I am using the crusty bits techniques (Paula Phillips, Journalartista .) Where I let each layer dry completely before adding another layer then pull a clean up print with thin wet layer of paint. Work quick putting down paper with the last layer and let it sit while rubbing it before you pull all 3 layers off.
I used the Gelli Arts plate to print my papers, and stencils I cut on my silhouette cameo to paint and collage this 12" x 36" canvas. I hope that answers your question. thanks for watching
My student told me to check out your channel and this one immediately jumped out at me. Love the contrasting colors and how it jumps.
Thank you I do mostly mixed media
@@debbyepps lol, my medium is food.

wonderful! love the way it develops...do you know where you are going or do you follow the muse?
I had the basic idea and try to think it through to some degree. I wanted a quilted look
This is really cool. I love to watch you create. Would this printing process also work on a glass or plexiglass plate?
alescographiks not as well because there is no give like the gelli plates
