This is footage from before the war. This is where all those soldiers died recently. They dug up the ground and slept in trenches. A lot of radiation in the earth now.
Ukraine built the nuclear waste depository, not the United States. The U.S. doesn't even have nuclear facilities within any distance to make it viable to transport their waste to that location. Ukraine built the facility there because of the previous radiation events and since it's the least populated area. I'm not sure if you have freedom of information to access the computer, but an hour of research and you would know what you are looking more during your adventure
For real that's what I'm saying I spent the whole week trying to find research on it because of the way they talked about us I mean I know we do a lot of bad things to other countries but if anything it's probably good that they have that since they have so much nuclear waste
4:25 It's nice to know they misidentify latin alphabet languages as easily as I misidentify cyrillic alphabet languages. Also interesting that a Spanish loader wound up in Chernobyl.
When you reupload videos, please indicate when the video was taken (i.e. Fall 2020). Its hard to tell what order the videos were taken, and it would be nice to track how it changed.
Looks like a cyclonic air filter. It separates the particles from the air in those little vertical funnels. The dirty air enters from those slots on the side, the dirt falls out at the bottom of the cyclone and the clean air leaves the top. I imagine the dome on the top collects all the top outlets of the cyclones and directs it down the centre to the bottom outlet. (Multi cyclone separator)
With all the money they spent on a drone, cameras, diving suit etc, the water is definitely the problem... wouldn't it be more profitable and safer to have a water pump there? pump the water out of the tunnels progressively for a couple of days and they will have the tunnels without water ready to walk with suits and nbq masks, it is the safest and cheapest way that they could do this, yes... they should be careful so that the police don't catch them while they pump the water outside
@@krystallinum yes I think it is because Water actually blocs most of the radiation if I remember correctly thats why you can stand in a Nuclear reactor next to the water and look at the Heating-rods down in the chambers
@@Augustadventures yeah water is a great insulator and with a lot of the radioactive stuff over there as long as you don't ingest it the radiation levels are fairly low at this point, like there's tours inside the reactor that they do where you can go in the control room for the one that exploded and in areas are only separated from the places that would have been most radioactive by a cement wall

They don’t even have a dosimeter with them here. They could be walking through hot spots and have no idea.
Love these videos for the in-depth true look at Chernobyl. You can even see the radiation in the video as looking like dust particles but those are radioactive ions
Don’t worry they are being smarter than they are leading you to believe. Reactor 5 and 6 were never completed and they are in a separate building about a mile away from reactor 4. Still super dangerous though
No, if you know what you're talking about this group creates content, but doesn't know what their doing and assumes a large amount of risk that could potential shorten their existence
Looking for “liquid” nuke waste? There was never any coolant or fuel put in that building. No doubt that water is radioactive, as is the ground, trees, machinery…. Everything that close to plant 4 may shorten your lifespan. The building they got caught in may have been air or coolant plumbing
The air lock is there to keep negative pressure as you get closer to the reactor the areas are at lower pressure so any air leaks in not out and this stops the escape of contamination to the atmosphere

"Ukraine will get a loan of 250 million U.S. dollars from the U.S. institutions for a construction of a facility for nuclear waste near the destroyed Chernobyl nuclear power plant, the Ukrainian government said on Thursday in a statement." "The building of the facility, which would cost an estimated 1.4 billion dollars, is aimed at boosting Ukraine's capabilities in managing and storing its nuclear waste. Currently, the East European country relies heavily on Russia for storing spent fuel from its power plants. According to the Ukrainian government, the first stage of the CSFSF construction will be completed in 2019. After the facility is put into operation, it will store spent nuclear fuel from three Ukrainian nuclear power plants."
