Yeah make sure you have the right amount of space per image and make sure it’s all lining up. Best thing about photoshop is that once you duplicate an image, every time you duplicate it it will automatically lock into the place the previous image was moved if that makes sense?
Also make sure your image is just the normal file, you don’t need to make the image extra small for the design just add the image file you already have and then you can make it small on the washi tape file xx
The manufacturer typically sends you the template with sizes and bleed already done.

Very helpful information and I wanted to add that PS has an alignment tool at the top, so when you select your designs you can manually align them-spacing and centering correctly to the canvas that is.

Hi, do you have the packages shipped to your home address? I’m really nervous about giving my home address to Alibaba suppliers but I don’t think they will ship to a P.O. Box.
Hey, so I have my own studio now so they get sent there but yes I used to. I’ve had no problem with it and the manufacture I get them off and I have linked in the description are amazing 🫶🏻🫶🏻
I always like getting samples in hand before I decide, but have realized how costly that is on Alibaba. Have you ever had any luck getting them to send you samples for a reasonable price, or free is even better lol
Honestly I haven’t :/ BUT I would always give them a message and ask because if you don’t ask you don’t get right? Xx

To the manufacturer yes, then they should come back with any parts of the design you need to change etc. hope that helps 🫶🏻

I am struggling to find out what dimensions I should use in Photoshop for the thicker and thinner versions for washi tapes. could you provide a general Photoshop dimension for those two types?

Hello! Thanks for the helpful video. I was wondering while you send the inquiry if you should also attach the photoshop pdf file. Or is it smarter to attach the file after they’ve approved of your request? Wanted to know just so my designs are safe and not potentially stolen >

Hey yeah just use the same dimensions as I did in photoshop then make sure you use the snap grid option as well!💗

I have another Q; It's my first time trying to design products so I don't know how to do them for the manufacturer. How should I design the washi tapes with gold/colorful foils? I searched a lot but can't find what I need. I saw somewhere that we have to draw the foiled part black in a separate layer. Is that right?
@@K_halmiland it totally depends on the manufacture you go with! I just said to mine that I want the moon and stars to have the effect on it. You should be able to just tell them xx

Great video! So do you create your designs in CMYK to start? I know you had photoshop set up for CMYK, so I was wondering if the witchy book you imported was also originally created in CMYK? I create most of my designs in RGB so I’m wondering if I’ll have to redraw them in CMYK before designing washi tapes! Thank you!
So I drew them in RGB but transferred them into a CMYK photoshop file :) xx
@@rebeljones ohh so once you transferred them into the CMYK photoshop file, that made them compatible for the print shop manufacturer? That is great to know!
@@cnags89so when you have a psd file you can change the mode from rgb to cmyk it’ll slightly alter the colors though and might need some brightening or fixing.

I can’t say it isn’t possible but it’s very rare that companies make washi tape for only that amount. If you have a look on alibaba.com you will be able to see the minimum order amount you can get x
