I just want to sincerely say thank you! You inspire me and to be able to start this as my newest hobby. You don’t do gate keeping or “hide the how to”. Thank you for being one of those special people who knows your success is important but helping others are too! I wish you nothing but pure success and happiness. 💞
I just wanted to say thank you so much for taking the time to tell us about how you do things and what products you try, or how to find manufacturers. It's very helpful and I love that you are supporting everyone in their adventures in small business. I kick around the idea of a stationary business and hearing about your process is very helpful. I have another small business in another creative area and it seems like everyone is always trying to hide where they get their products or how they do things, and I'm always telling people to ask me anything because we should be elevating and helping each other. I always say I want someone to choose me for the quality of work I do, not just for a certain pattern (i'm a longarm quilter) that anyone could buy. There were some business that started out small on UA-cam and shared and now that they are big they stopped, and I just find myself not really wanting to support them when they aren't supporting others. So keep it up! :)
I couldn't agree more. I'm in a totally different industry, Organic Farming, & we will ALWAYS share all our ideas, mistakes, successes, suppliers etc, & I see it in this industry too, where ppl try & turn it into something special, & secret, & won't share info with others. Drives me absolutely nuts. Our motto is about bringing everyone else UP with us, not trying to hold ppl down. I firmly believe there is enough to go around, enough pieces in the pie for everyone, & by supporting & helping others, we help ourselves. Love your comment, & obviously love @aPenas generosity with information!
I just discovered your journal while searching for studio vlogs (for inspo while i spend the weekend painting/drawing)! So glad I "found" you! i love your spirit and thank you so much for sharing all your knowledge. This is incredibly useful for those who are just starting out or may wish to consider selling stationary in future!
Seriously... I logged on today with the intention to look up... "How to make washi tape"...and there you were!!! Awesome 👍👍👍 thanks for the info and guidance. Blessings to you and yours.

Thank you for the wonderful tutorial Bia. I am setting up my studio (assembling Ikea furniture) in my new home in Washington state. Can’t wait to start making art again.
So excited!! Saludos desde Puerto Rico!! Tuve que comentar ASAP de lo entusiasmada que estoy para ver este video. Ty for sharing your knowledge with us!! 🥰🤩

Olá Beatriz! Adorei as tuas washi tapes! :) Sempre tive curiosidade em saber como se faziam. Obrigada pela tua partilha e paixão em tudo o que fazes. Beijinhos e muito sucesso!
This video popped on my recommended because I've been watching a lot of studio vlogs and I have to say, i subbed within 5 minutes i love your pieces and your art style. So adorable! gonna check out more of your videos and binge now hehe.
Hi Denisse! Can’t wait for them to arrive to see the final result ehehe 😍 glad it could help! I used alibaba for Washis in my part time job for the first time, at the time and it also went great 😍🌈 if you check all the things, it will be fine 💛
Wow. What a beautiful work. It’s so cool. 😍❤️🥰👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Congrats. I’ve just found out you are in Portugal and I’m moving to Portugal in a few months. So I’ll definitely buy in the future. ❤️
Love your videos! Can you tell me if there is a way to make the pattern repeat seamlessly in Procreate? I don’t have PS and am struggling to make it work out.
Thank you so much! I never tried it, I just mount everything on Photoshop because it's easier to measure. But you can use the ruler/drawing guide on Procreate and maybe it helps :)
I find if you copy and paste directly back into your file it doesn’t lose its quality, and sometimes can even resize it without it changing BUT only after you paste it, make sure not to click off it. It’s weird but I find after you click off the image and try to resize it gets all grainy and ugly again. Idk if this really helps though.
Love the Halloween artwork! Thank you so much for sharing how to make washi tapes in detail. I've looked at the templates and stuff before, but as you said, it's a little scary when you've never done it, haha...
thank you so much for the tips! Love the washi. Do you have any advice on how to get the colours to come out as accurate as possible? I had washi tape made but the colours were way off (super dark) and I thought i did everything right. I'm not sure if they changed it without my consent or whatnot. anything would help! thanks!
You are welcome! 🥰 did You sent the file in CMYK or RGB? I do the conversion myself and the colours May get a little darker if you don’t do any adjustments to it! Maybe I would have talked about that 😅
Hello! Could you please tell me what's the paper name of the washi tape prints you cut? Does the paper have any kind of glue? Please let me know. Thanks for your videos. Take care.
I would really love to make my washi tape, but I don't want it to be made in China, but it seems there is literally NO WASHI TAPE MANUFACTURER that does not have a factory based there. Its absolutely frustrating. Can anyone help? (And Europe based one would be the best).
Hope you enjoy this tutorial! Don’t forget to leave a comment 🥰🌈 Are you thinking about making Washi tapes? Let me know eheh
Question! Did you design your illustration in CMYK or RGB? Manufacturer always ask for CMYK. Thank you!

Hi please make a video of how you make washi tape as a tape without glue please 😖❤️
I don’t know how to do that, sorry 😅 only did these ones
It’s fine ❤️😄
Can I ask you from where did you order them ?
I share that info with my Patrons :)
Very cute, but I don’t understand why you don’t explain more about how to contact and work with manufacturers. That’s part of the process.
I want to film another tutorial soon, updated! Could you let me know what I should speak more specifically? :)
de donde descargas los dibujos los vendes gracias
I do them myself, as I show in the video. No they are not for sale, they are copyrighted 🥰 thank you!
