Aletha, I’m the same way. I get so excited that trying to settle down and rest beforehand just isn’t possible. You will definitely crash hard after the first day. But it’s very easy waking up the next morning ready to make more memories. This will be our 5th trip, and I still get “first time” excited.
Venti ice water no whip 😂 Love it! Your family seems great. I now want to go to Disney for a few days with no parks. Just have to see if I can follow through with no parks 😊 We have done one night before a cruise but it is usually just enjoying the resort pool and an evening at Disney springs.
Michael, sometimes just relaxing is the best way to travel. That way you get to talk to your family, enjoy them. As you said, your brother is far away and you don’t get to see him often. You have a lovely family and you are very lucky to be able to spend time with them. If I may, in Spanish you pronounce every letter, except h which is mute, so you would pronounce Jaleo as let my try to do this in English pronunciation: haleo vowels all short sounds 😃. I’m a teacher, I can’t help it. Thanks for a wonderful video. Loved it!

I stayed at Wilderness Lodge for 9 days (first time) over the summer and this vlog made me miss it so much! I enjoyed Geyser Point too. Very neat to have 2 quick service locations in 1 resort....and just incredible views & a gorgeous resort ❤️❤️ I hope you get to stay there on a future adventure!
Hi. I was in Disney Springs when they were working on the Planet Hollywood roof. The stars are still there. They put the grey panels over the stars. Who knows, maybe someday they will remove the grey panels?
Michael so great to see this Vacation is just as magical and laid back for you and the Family! It is amazing how much of Disney we miss when it’s parks, parks, parks. Ron and I exhausted ourselves with 3 am mornings this trip and still did not see everything. Especially weird was we did not even step foot in Tomorrowland with two days at MK

Like your mother, I love Laila! It is the only perfume I can wear without getting a headache. I love walking into the Norway shop and putting on Laila lotion (even though I have some at home).Adore the scent! Your mother is a doll :-)
I want to stay at the Wilderness Lodge so bad. I price it out all the time but cannot justify it for the cost. I guess you do not have to sleep there to enjoy it so next time I go I will have to resort hop for some great food.

I live in San Francisco, so FYI on the pronunciation of the famous Ghirardelli chocolate, it's pronounced with a hard G (not a soft J sound), like gorilla. One other comment, although it might make it a little less magical, but any chance you could share the cost of some of these trips and adventures? Maybe in the show notes or in a blog? Helps for our travel aspirations budget. Thanks!!!
Same Michael whenever me and my family go to Disney I wake up like 30 minuets before everyone else. Ha just kidding I sleep in because we stay out until like 11:00-12:00 so lol. I stayed at The Wilderness Lodge at Disney land. A amazing place to stay.

We used to go to Discovery Island on the first day of every visit to Disney! My kids used to love it when they were little in the late 80’s
This has inspired me for Oct. while my hubby is at his convention, I shall visit Wilderness Lodge more this trip.
