New FAFSA form rollout causes headaches for incoming students

- Congress mandated changes in an attempt to simplify the FAFSA form. However, it was launched months later than usual, and glitches and technical delays have plagued the form's rollout for millions of students who are up against a May 1 deadline.

All Universities should be required to extend their financial aid deadline. Our application automatically submitted without allowing my husband to sign and now we have an incomplete form that’s been submitted. Whoever in the IT department created this form need to be fired
That’s what happened to us. We are TRAPPED trying to get this form fixed. It’s ticking me off now.
My daughter keeps getting e-mails asking her to commit to various colleges, but it’s the middle of April and we still don’t know how much it will cost. Colleges are asking to put money down to secure dorm rooms, but again how much will it cost? It’s ridiculous.
I already filled one out and immediately was scared … I’m not gonna even accept what I get because I feel like I’d pay more back then what I would get … I work as well for target , and I am 24 years old , I feel like going to barber school now …

Whoever runs this NEEDS to be fired IMMEDIATELY. This form submitted without our signature. It’s been PENDING weeks. My teen can’t do anything else. I’m mentally tired on this. I had to fill out 8 times now from THEIR mistakes constantly messing up this one application process. ALL UNIVERSITIES should adjust for these kids. It’s not fair that low income kids suffer already and now this crap? Shameful!
Who’s running the processing? The FAA?
Filling out FASFA as a first generation college student was one of the most stressful times of my life. Asking my mom for her taxes, filling out a form I don’t understand with me going to college on the line. Cried filling it out
