Issues with this year's FAFSA applications for student financial aid

The Department of Education tried to make the financial aid application process easier for students, but the revised version of FAFSA has been riddled with clerical and technical issues. Kate Wood, lead writer at NerdWallet, joined CBS News to discuss the issues.

the government doesn't help non-traditional students at all. I got denied financial aid through my community college just because I have a degree already. I think when it comes to financial aid. Financial aid should be for everybody. Whether you have a degree already or not.
