I just binge watched every single video on this build over the last few days. It's pretty incredible to watch how your editing ability and overall video quality has improved. I'm by no means going to come even close to the ability you have to fabricate things but you given me some wonderful ideas for my bike of things I want to do. You're doing something amazing here with this channel and I hope to see it grow exponentially.
I just did same thing to my CX500. First time doing that on any bike, and main goal is to change cam chain with all parts that go with it. I wish you had a video doing that process, with your great video editing and commentary. It would be a huge help for guys like me. Keep up, I love these videos!!!
You're welcome , I just finish my cx project after a year and I got lots of ideas from Cafe Racer Garage channel and lots of things that i sorted out myself and very happy with the bike, good luck with your's. Gus
Excellent video on the tear down surprising how many bits and pieces there actually is , and yeah those picks are a must have in any tool kit , mine have been used for anything from poking something out like the pin holding the float on a carb to releasing the wiring spade connection in a broken connector block ..can not wait to see the bits back on all painted and shiny like . Keep going Dan it'll look the mutts very soon ..and dont forget at the end I want to know if you made it under budget ...and if you can msg about that frame member cheers
Grouse mate. A friend and I just pulled my cx400 engine out of my bike so I could replace the stator as it wasn't charging. I took the opportunity to paint a couple of the bits and pieces on the engine. Had to make my own casket for the rear cover. I hope it works!
Love all projects hefts you have! When are you doing the cb750 again? I’m all for that one!! 😆 I’m going to try and start a cafe racer next year, subscribe to my channel and you can watch a Brit do one! HAha great work!!
Tools I used in this video:
Hook & Pick Set - amzn.to/31IL3Hc
Oil Seal Kit - ebay.to/2m1sMoE OR amzn.to/2Vcvl4H

Can’t deny, they both are beautiful bikes the cx and the cb but with long flat seats don’t look like cafe racers
Love taking things apart, too, Dan! I usually have to video the process as you did for putting things back together! Warming up there yet? 👍🏻🏍👍🏻
I know the feeling. LOL
Cafe Racer Garage 😎
