For fruit/vitamin C/hydration I included some apple juice individual sized juice boxes. They have an ok shelf life. Apple juice or cranberry juice can also be heated up (add chai teabag or cinnamon stick and then you have a hot cider type of drink). I like mixing those ready to eat canned soups/stews/chili with an extra starch like a can of potatos or chick peas, or a precooked rice packet. It stretches out the meal and can dilute some of the excess saltiness.
We like to go on vacation with air bnbs but then we always have to buy groceries when we get there. I wonder if one way to cycle this would be to bring the food box or some of it along and refresh it when you get back!
Just a tip - make sure you like and will eat the food in these preset packages. Not all of it is good and in a SHTF situation, bad food will just make you more cranky. I have a couple on hand for last resort but did create my own with food my family will enjoy.
Same advice - I had bad experiences with a different company’s prepackaged food pail so I mostly stick to familiar “conventional”/ grocery store items or single ingredient freeze dried items.
Hi I just found your channel after reading an article you were featured in! Loving your videos and your focus on progressive, fear free prepping. I am restarting our food pantry after we lost a bunch of things to mice (now I have learned to better protect our food from pests). We have frequent long term power outages where we live, and prepping is really a necessity at this point!
I just wanted to let you know those instant oatmeals are very harmful and full of really horrid things. You might want to research conveneience foods as they have been found to have high levels of known carcinogens and poisons.

Thsts an excellent idea!
I have a jar of milk powder to add to my instant oatmeal in my emergency box. Easy to just add a spoonful or two to your bowl.
Perfect addition!
This is such a fantastic intro video. I'm interested in prepping and have never watched anything on it. Thank you!
I use the Augason farms 1 week pails one for each person or you can get a 30 day pail for a family of 4

Glad you found us! Welcome, welcome!
I enjoyed this video thank you. Very informative . 👍
You can also just make your oatmeal with your coffee. Depending on the flavor, it works really well. I also like protein powder in my coffee oatmeal.
I think I would miss a hot cup of coffee!
