I just went to is38 with IE on my sportwagen with the stock gsw brakes, should I upgrade to the alltrack/gti brakes or am I fine for street/highway driving with the stock gsw setup.? . Or should I just get some better pads? It has felt fine so far
Your factory brakes are just fine, unless you are really sending it in the mountains I wouldn't worry about it. IF you are going to do that, just get some good pad per the video and ensure your fluid is fresh. IF you want more heat management, I'd step up to the 340 GTI PP/R fronts and skip the 312s, the difference in the 288 to 312 is negligible.
