The release date of this song was Aug 7, 1990. My wife and I as teenagers started dating in the summer of ‘91. I was 17 she was 19. She really liked this song. I played guitar since I was a kid. I secretly learned to play this song for her. When I played it for her I told her I learned it just for her and she cried.
We are 47and 49 years old now and have been together since 1991!
This is our song. Still today I’ll pick up my guitar and start playing it out of the blue for her. She still gets a tear because she knows when I play this song there are no words but she knows I love her.
2021 will be 30 years together and still going strong!

Yes. I was also in high school at that time! Graduated in 93. We would gather and sing this song sooo loud! This song was and still is everything! I too enjoyed this young lady's reaction!

The song is truly amazing. It's saying, what would you do if saying i love you wasn't enough. Just a touch. Just a glance, means way more than saying i love you. The song speaks to how many people just throw the words i love you around and think its enough.

This song is from the early 1990s.
This group was mostly strong rock and roll and had very few ballads. This was one of their biggest hits. The setting of the video is also excellent with other band members there listening. Their voices and the acoustic guitar really shows fantastic talent that could be overlooked in their rock tracks. I liked the part where two band members held up the lighters which are what used to be done at concerts by the audience signaling they wanted more music.
Extreme was one of my favourite band back in the days. ♥️ Still good to listen too.

the first performers are Extreme. I heard this song back in the 90s when I was young, and now I listen and remember my youth ...
Extreme is actually a hard rock band. This is their ballad but this is their only ballad. The lead singer, Gary Cherone, for a brief time, was the lead singer for Van Halen. Nuno Bettencourt is a fantastic guitar player and composer. So much talent!

Ironic thing - the rest of this album is very hard rock / speed metal type music. This song, simple chords and great melody / singing, propelled them to fame.
