Thanks for that informative post Dave . Im looking forward to getting a couple of the nascars .of course, it would be awesome to get 124 versions, but with sales so low in 124, and i suspect they dont expect big Nascar sales in Europe, I tend to sadly agree with you about the 124s

I suppose it draws clicks, but it's obvious a lot of people have no clue what they are talking about on the subject. Then you come out with a video like this, and they scoff at that. Go figure lol.
The rumor I heard was the reason why the Camaro name was removed is that GM plans to use the name on a crossover possibly an EV like the Mach E by Ford.
Wow ,, those numbers are hard to believe ,,, i think the 1/24 scale are the best value out there ,,, what other brand is there that comes close ? BRM are cool but very pricey ,,, i am not doubting you just wonder why carrera even still makes 1/24 with those sad stats
Hi Dave, I already replied to your comment on my video which addressed most of this. I do want to correct you on one thing. Canada has it's own distributor now. Canadian retailers no longer deal with Carrera of America for anything. This includes returns and warranties. The change occurred earlier this year.
The strike as been suspended b/c USMX made a tentative agreement to a 62% increase in pay to the Longshoreman over the next 6 years. Contract negotiations will begin in January 2025. ILA and USMX have released a joint statement. Btw the strike began at midnight on Tuesday. Dock workers have already resumed work.
Dave, do you think the 1/43 Hot Rod's (64222 & 64223) will be made as 1/32 or 1/24 scale versions? Hot Rod trucks would be a cool addition to my Hot Rod 1/32 & 1/24 scale collections from Carrera.
I can’t imagine they would. The last one that Carrera made in 1/32 scale as far as I can remember, was the blue car with the orange flames on it that I researched and probably 2013 or 2014 I took photos of it at the Macungie hotrod show and I think that was the last one hot rod didn’t really sell very well for us then.
@@SlotCarNewsOfficial that is too bad. Yes, that was a Willy's coupe (30603) in 2012. It did linger for a while on shelfs and was only one year in the catalog, maybe because it was the only one and the older versions were nowhere to be found?

We would buy all 4 NASCAR cars in 1/24. Love the big cars. A shame the realities are otherwise

It seems like a missed opportunity to have only one release of a car. Why not offer new versions year after year as long as the market supports it?
