So glad I'm not the only one who has written numerous first drafts but never fully edited one 😅 So glad you were able to print out your manuscript too. I hope you're November writing goes well! I really want to get back to my writing. I started up a couple months ago and then got overwhelmed with all the books I was reading 😔
I totally get what you mean, but the only one who got you back into writing was you. You might have found a helpful tool, but you had the drive and determination and you made the decision to do it and you did it. All you. It’s perfectly fine to feel thankful to the catalyst, but don’t give it to much credit. Not everyone with a hammer can build a house. I’ve seen plenty of people posting videos about replacements for writing community too, I’m sure you can find some! Love your smart goals! And the hickups ordering! 😂 Making it work! I’m so excited for your printed manuscript!!! 😭 That’s such a milestone, you wrote that! And the fear: you don’t have to have all the answers! Giving yourself time to write is just like giving yourself time to solve the printing. Just because it didn’t work out perfectly from the start doesn’t mean you couldn’t solve it and get it done. You just need to make space and time for the hickups to unfold. Same for romance or middle grade. You’re multi faceted, no need to box yourself in before you have explored, or even ever. Plenty of authors write in different genres. Just keep going! You’ll do great! Whatever that looks like for you!
SAME. I'm so glad you've reached an editing stage!! Congrats! Me previously? What's editing -- just straight publish it (fanfiction) 😂😂 EDITING WHO? WHERE? WHAT? I didn't know anything about NaNoWriMo. I'm going to look up about it after your video. But when you said SMART goals, I had a visible cringe because that was what my old work used a lot 💀It's definitely GOOD but... I'm a little bit traumatized. When you have a final draft, check out Barnes & Noble prints -- make your own hard copy before "officially" printing it too!! But I'm so happy for you. That's such a good amount and great progress 🥰 You having a full plan of action is AWESOME. I love seeing this background progress as a viewer to see what writers go through 😍 I'm a huge fan of aliexpress's color tabs. They're so much cheaper than the ones on Amazon (and genuinely, so much cheaper!) in case you want more for the future. My only opinion is that a lot of writers don't know what kind of books they want to write! A good surprise is how much random genres Ali Hazelwood write. So in general, whatever you decide to do, I know it'll all work out!!

Making an editing plan sounds like most of the hard work of the process. Now the editing will be relatively easy since you made such a good plan!
