Yep I saw that video. It started smoking. As long you don’t drain the battery with that much load quickly (like a washer) and then charge it soon after it should be ok. I average about 50 watt discharge, that shouldn’t heat up the battery much.

Nice video. What got me interested in the River is the 100W USB-C charging port. I don't see that very often in portable power stations.
I have the river 600 and I plan to purchase the extra battery. I also just purchased the delta 1300 the other day. Great review of this power station.
I have to send mine back, it started to not charge from solar or AC and would switch to 50hz. Super weird. I have had it for a bout a month.

Thanks, Good to know. So far I haven’t have issues yet. I drained it completely 3 times and recharge fine so far.
Hello! Just recieved our Ecoflow River Max yesterday. Came with 30% charge. Husband plugged it in to house 110 wall plug in. At first it was charging ok but then stopped charging when it reached 81%. Input wattage shows 0000. What do you think could be wrong with it?

@@randomlyme3219 Is it charging in room temperature? I seen that happen if the battery is too hot. Try letting it rest and charge it again. You can always contact EcoFlow, their email or FB contact has awesome support.
Hello peakboost. Yes we were charging it at room temp. And yes we did tget in touch wth Ecoflow customer service. I hope if we cant resolve it that they would replace unit. Bought it from Amazon Canada and it states the product is not eligible for return. Hope the EF can help us with it. Thanks again! 😊
Update the firmware before you drain it completely it fixes this problem
I have the 600 Max and love it ! I also have 2 Ecoflow 110 watt solar panels for it.
Pretty happy that the River only has a plug in cable not like the other power stations that has a brick charger.
Attaching the extra battery seems to be fairly easy and not to technical. I'm actually liking the River.
Good afternoon! A wonderful and detailed video! Thanks! One question, is it theoretically possible to connect a second battery from below? Charging station +1 battery+2 batteries. Does the first battery have connectors from the bottom?
You can change the color of the green light by going to the app to change the way it flashes ans many colors. Good video my friend.
If it's not real hot or you aren't charging no need for the full fan unless you are putting a helluva draw on it for some reason. this unit does not draw from both batteries. It drains the first one first according to the book. 24 volt input and 4 hrs to full charge on 2 batteries is pretty damn good. i am buying the spare battery. I have one is why I watched this video. i am buying the spare battery. te price has come down on these in the last year. big box stores are dumping them for 249 and Eco will sell you a spare when you sign up with them right now with a 20.00 discount so 159. i'm in 260 after taxes and then another 159 or so after spare battery to run my electronics and maybe plug the fridge in for 30 minutes every 4 hrs to let it run a cycle every 4 hrs. I think with the spare battery it does it for 24 hrs and I can charge it at work. I have gas wall heater an water heater but furnace won't run with out power but wall heater that does at 22k BTU.
You are about to replace the Rivermax Plus body battery. If I buy and replace the River Plus Extra battery, is BMS communication compatible between the main body and the battery?
What WH did you get from the AC? I only get 386WH. The inverter is rated at 78%(576*.78 = 449). I purchased it in January. I charge it once a week low 20% high 80%. I hope you have better luck. I am not happy about having to send it back!
Hi i have a new river max international version and im using it every night from 100% to 0% it last only for about 6to8 hours using a 44watts electric fan do you think its good enough? Im not satisfied please help
The DC out is rated as 3A max. So if you want to take more A you should use the cig Out....

I was using a Samsung phone front camera. I guess their front camera does a mirror video.

You seem pretty knowledgeable. I tried buying a parallel adapter(splitter) for the mt60 so I could charge from my 100 watt solar panel and my cigarette lighter at the same time running into the "yellow" solar port.
Long story short, it doesn't work. Is there a logical explaination why you can think of?
