- Finally got a matching Corbeau Moab Neoprene seat and needed to get a solid lowered seat bracket so my head can sit below the roll bar! In this video, we see how much Corbeau's lowered seat bracket helps over the stock setup.

looks like you could easily cut those brackets down another 2 inches really easily

at least if you roll the jeep your head will keep the rollbar from getting scratched. lol. the seats look good. i’m 6’3” i feel your pain.

I like it! It will just be shims and bolts to directly bolt your seat to the floor! I know man someday I need to!
I just bought this bracket for my 95 YJ and decided to do a test fit before i mounted anything to it. I've got 7/8" of a gap on the front right or back left depending on which way I rock it. That seems a little much to twist out. Did you notice any of your 4 points not sitting flush out of the box? I appreciate your time!
On a yj, how to move seat back more.
I'm 6'6" and don't notice that much issue in my YJ. I must be really slouching or you sit up really tall when driving. Great video. I'm looking for replacements seats and that's how I found your video.
I fit ok in my Jeep I just don’t like my head above the roll bar in case of a roll over. Thanks for watching!
Your height is probably from your leg length.

i have the moab seats and at first i had to use the factory brackets and i could barely see out of the windshield i was so high with the corbeau brackets it made a world of difference im only 6'1
Crazy how high the stock brackets put you up! Thank goodness corbeau made lower ones

I got the corbeau baja xrs suspension seats for my yj renegade. Its definitely an adjustment to get used to compared to the factory brackets. I'm subscribing because you're literally feeling my pain lol

Does the mount move you over towards the door? I run doorless and my seats have me out of alignment from my steering wheel towards the middle and I want to move closer to the door.
Tall guy problems! - im only 6'2" and I wouldn't want to be any taller with my JK.
Haha 6’2” must be the limit for being in a Jeep haha. I’ve been in jk’s and jl’s and have no luck fitting haha

I messed up purchasing seats for my TJ Tank. Due to lack of experience with such things I made a poor choice. The thing I do know is you get what you pay for. I have definitely heard of your seats several times before and seen them at Jamborees. I think you are ready to getherdone. I have great news as soon as you hit 68 or so the height problem will disappear. I was 6'2" now only 6' so you have something to look forward to. OMB

Man tell me about it I got some new seats off of a Hyundai and they sit high already plus brackets it’ll feel like I’m driving without a windshield. I won’t buy more brackets I’ll just sell the YJ for a TJ.

Great vid! I feel your pain John.. big dudes in small trucks is alot harder lifestyle than small dudes in big trucks 🤣. Were those original Butterscotch YJ seats? They looked pretty good still. You can definitely sell em for more brackets.. I hate that I have to recline seats and lean forward to fit... I swear it's giving me a hunchback! Haha 🤦♂️
Hahaha right?! Yea they were! I sold them already and I let them go pretty cheap. Fabric wise they were good but the ratcheting mechanism for the recliner was getting sloppy so it wasn’t very rigid. I hear ya man! I think I’ve got back problems from my truck!

Damn dude.. so tall you don;t fit in your Jeep stock? I have the opposite problem... When I drive something with a clutch pedal I need to have the steering wheel in my chest to be able to reach the pedals. HAHA. is what it is. Nice seats, nice swap, nice vid!
I don’t fit in a lot of things... I’ll never be able to own an xj. Even worse with them. Haha that’s crazy you gotta get that close for the clutch pedal! Very opposite problems indeed

I just purchased a TJ and noticed a stack of washers under the front seat brackets. Is that for a shorter driver or taller driver? I only had it for a few days before I shipped out for training. Thoughts?

One question. So those brackets fit without extra mods. Just bought some best top seats and they mounted perfectly to stock brackets. Question is, should they fit perfect with these brackets too then? I need to lower my seat height. It’s a hassle getting in with the seat and steering wheel too tight.

I like those seats they look really nice . I'm 6'1 and don't have any problems in my TJ , but I do in some other vehicles . I'm looking into getting new seats for my TJ due to them being worn out . I will have to look into those . Until next time take care .
