I agree. I also think wrestling and grappling are important because there is no worse feeling than getting caught in a human sticky trap. One other thing, fighring skills are vitally important. Better than that is knowing how to take out an opponent bare handed quickly, and as efficiently as possible, and being willing to do that if necessary.
Goodness, this week a younger brother, a very two very close friends have mentioned “The Wire” tv series. I completely missed it along with The Sopranos at the time… guess I’ll start with this one. Wanted to mention, I arrived here to your channel from Substack and gotta say, the things you are teaching and sharing are ringing proper in the way I’m trying to see things. Still on a hole, but a stoic mindset, boxing (recently took it), minimalism, have been making huge changes. Thanks for these videos and share.
@EdLatimore1 I went to HS up there and went to undergrad there too. Senior year went to a boxing gym in the Hill by Mercy hospital and Duquesne. A lot of straight killers there, at My best I was basically a 170lb heavy bag with a jab but man the people were so cool and supportive. Fond memories. At same time I remember several folks having to catch the bus early bc "the youngster robbing everyone" after dark. Your vids are tremendous and to go from that to where you are, big salute. I went to kiski prep and CMU and a whole lotta people I graduated with who came from real money never did half of what you did. Wisdom is wisdom regardless but it's all the lore amazing when spoken from someone living it
@@PicaPauDiablo1 Yeeah the hill district is a rough ass area haha. Definitely a lot of killers up there, literally and figuratively. And thanks man, I just try to help folks out with my content!
