@@t3hsis324Yes-- but as far as I know you need to play the tracks and then record your computer's audio. It can be done pretty easily with free programs like Audacity.

Ohhhh paranoid android brings back memories. Wish that Spotify did this for the vocals - they have the lyrics sunk to most tracks - being to click a button to mute the vocals in app would take it to the next level. This is still really cool for those who have the patience and software, though! Makes me wonder how many cool things I've missed. Also that chorus isolated was really cool. Sounds even more haunting Acapella.
at least any song got extracted with Rock Band/Guitar Hero files. i wanna hear that new instrumentals had been buried in the mix lately that i haven't not noticed. i think Logic Daw had the best features but all other DAWs like Pro Tools should have this.
Hey coach, could you whip up a Logic Pro X course for us? Some of us are lagging behind in the tech motivation department with Logic. It's like this overwhelming giant of a program, and we just want to learn to record better songs without feeling like we're wrestling a digital octopus. Can you help us make music without the tech tantrums? A focused Singer's Logic Pro course would be so appreciated without all the extras... thanks
Vocal Remover is better IMHO and is a lot easier and free to use. But I send the guy $2 for his Patreon so I can use it whenever I want, as multiple uses will be restricted. 4K Video Downloader will pull it off UA-cam for you so you can get the original recording free, and then throw the song - preferably on a lyric video - into Vocal Remover and it'll separate out the Music & Vox for you. Throw the Music & Vox both into Reaper, and the original video on a separate track [but mute the track] & drop the gain on the vocal track. Presto, you have an instant Karaoke track with lyrics using the original artist's music and you can refer to the original Vox if you need to. 👍👍👍
Don't give up.. practice, Practice..I'm the same age, and I get to practice singing by going out and singing karaoke and I noticed the more I do it and use what I've learned from these videos have helped alot..Don't give up..
Just use something like Pulse and any recording software. Start recording, and then Pulse Audio pipe your monitor of your output as an input to the same program. Boom, there's your perfect noiseless sample. Yes, I use Linux. Fight me.
It seems that vocal removers will be of a little use to people who try to sing songs with all original vocals and instrumentals and then decide to remove only original vocals to make their covers.
@@chrisliepe So, programs now can recognize different intermingled vocals (yours and original)? I thought that programs remove all vocals just as one option and leave only instruments.
I've been using vocalremover recently to strip songs for covers in an attempt to get back into singing, in combination with watching tons of your videos so it's nice to see you mention it. Constructive criticism is highly welcomed from all - but here's a track done with vocalremover. This one is pitch shifted up a touch but the Mayer ones are raw ua-cam.com/video/LnvcoXaEtfc/v-deo.html

For those not using Logic there's a free program called Ultimate Vocal Remover which is fantastic for stem separation as well ;)

I'm here for my lesson today Chris❤
Amazing, great scream and masterclass
Yeah thanks Chris I got that at the end 👏
Awesome Chris ! I'm super stoked to be seeing & the software and your frequency of teaching is lit ! Im stoked about the masterclass 🎉 🎶🎵🎶✨️🌌
I love how you can isolate it
OOOOW! That note! So gritty yet it soars in vibrato! (0:36)
What! I have that at my home?!! Thanks for letting me know! 😊😊
This is going to take me to the next level
I've been using Ultimate Vocal Remover for the last month or so. Works perfectly with any song. Any song i've tried so far, anyway.
The only problem with vocal remover is that sometimes you can still hear the vocals. It's faint, but you can still hear them. Not every song though.

I'm only starting using Logic. It's also my first experience with music producing. This is crazy to know. Thank you so much
I'm definitely going to do that that is very beneficial 💯©️
It’s only available to Logic users with M1 macs (not intel) unfortunately.
That’s an important point!
oh man my studio used 2012 now 2015... my newest apple anything including phones lmao ill stick to my iyzotope and serrato for now
Oh.
❤ I told you I tell the vocalist when I'm stealing from them
huh i was looking for this for a radiohead song too!
I can harmonize with you but I'll never be able to be a screamer❤ and I'm fine with that
I've used the karaoke but I like this better

I can kinda see why radiohead doesnt like muse😂
Amazing feature. I left logic a few years ago, tho.
i love you Chris 😅😂😂
But Chris is not stealing from you you're giving it away free 🆓 I do watch a commercial to make sure you get that
Would be interesting to know about VST plugins of the same type which we can use on normal PCs.
Hey Chris - When ya gonna do Robert Smith as an analysis or how to, like I suggested ages ago 😉

I don't understand, you import the song but then how do you break it into parts like that to mute the vocals?
Follow the instructions towards the end of the video. It’s only a few steps! :)

Can you Break down the song "Operation Pyrite" from Arknights. A song sung by Alan Day from Four Year Strong.
This feels like a band pass with an intelligent selector for common instruments. Is that more or less correct?
It’s much more than that. It uses AI to separate out the instruments and different parts.
Is this a free software
Included inside Logic now. I share other free options at the end of the video too.

It works all the time for me. I use the full instrumentals for my covers here on UA-cam.
