    Thanks for making this video as I was thinking about getting a multi tool and wanting to get an attachment that will work for both snow and lawn. Base on what I can see, looks like the paddle is a more effective tool for both season for me which is a surprise to me because I was thinking about getting the sweep/brush originally.

    I use the paddle for my business. It is the best in my opinion. As far as the line in the middle I always use it at an angle.NO LINES As far as sweeing I use a split shaft and have it sweep towards me, As I walk backwards. This way when the rocks het thicker Im nit fighting to PUSH them and holding the paddle from digging in, the natural weight of the paddle attachment dies the work. Its?easier on the machine as a whole. The time to sweep takes 1/2 as long and Im 1/2 as tired at the end of the day. I do sweep a lot of gravel off of lawns every spring. Its very lucrative...

    Generally like the paddle better, but the brush would do a better job of cleaning out the flotsam that gets stuck between the deck boards. The brush looks a bit lighter also which might make a difference on my old aching back when doing the rock on our 900 foot driveway.

  • @mjakersusmc
    @mjakersusmc 2 роки тому +3

    I’m looking at both attachments. Correct me if I’m wrong, but it seems like the sweeper might get down into crevasses a little more thoroughly to remove dirt and debris than the paddle would. So unless you’re moving larger rocks on a consistent basis, I’d think the sweep was a better choice. Your thoughts?

    • @robnation2475
      @robnation2475 Рік тому

      👍Agreed. For a home owner the sweep may clean a driveway or porch nicely with soap and water and do snow too. But I might decide to get the paddle as well to make some cash (and pay for both) clearing snow from downtown sidewalks etc.🤔

      What model engine? Also, what is the fuel type being used? I think both of those factors could influence the speed to a degree?

      I haven't tried it on that. I used a Kubota front end loader and a hand rake on the last big maple we took down.

    I just bought the brush and it kinda sucks. No matter which way you use it, it throws stuff at me. There is no guard.

      The pro paddle seems to be the better choice, based on my experience and all the comments.
