Humbert is such a clean and heavy ball striker, up there with the likes of Nalbandian, Sinner, Berdych or Wawrinka. He will be top 10 this year no doubt and a menace in masters 1000 hard courts. He's amazing on grass too. He just needs to keep his confidence through the clay season.
Bublik has a penchant for silly trick shots that serve no purpose, and occasionally he hits extremely casual shots as if he is momentarily bored, but he can do extraordinary things on the court!

In hindsight, it was a matter of time before Rublev's questionable temperament got him into trouble. I had actually praised him a couple of weeks ago for being better under pressure! His explosions are hard to watch.
Humbert recently defeated: ✅ Hurkazc (their last 2!) ✅ Medvedev ✅ Dimitrov ✅ Monfils ✅ Murray Apart from the top 3, he has defeated some of the best players on hard courts. Truly remarkable.

I was predicting him to be a high quality player consistently a couple years ago and he disappeared. Glad to see him playing at the level I saw possible two years ago. He's super fast and strikes the ball really clean, natural mix of offense and defensive talents
Love watching Bublik play. I have never seen Bublik try so hard in a match. He ran balls down repeatedly that he never would normally retrieve. And these are balls being hit by one of the biggest hitters in the game. This shows that if he really tries and focuses, he can beat top 10 players. He has the creativity and firepower to beat anybody when he is playing well. If he works on his consistency, he'd be a real contender for bigger titles.

Humbert is just amazing lately. I could be wrong but in this video with courtside view, lots of his shots seem to clear the net with slightest margin. Consistency will be hard to keep up if his usual shots are that flat. Regardless, amazing run that he's been showing.
Bublik has such a cool set of skills. I don't think we will see him winning grand slams but I see no reason why he can't be a top 10 player with this newfound determination this year.
To be fair, Rublev has some major anger management issues. He is a great guy but he can’t control his emotions on court. I hope he gets a therapist to help him with something deeper that needs to be addressed.
Medvedev struggles dealing with aggressive/hard hitting players. He becomes far too passive and his serve wasn’t doing him any favours either. Something in his game needs to change quickly because this style won’t pass the test of time.
Love Humbert's lefty forehand. That sucker is a live wire, looks like he's not putting all that much effort into it but POW it just snaps off his racket. Great movement and consistency as well. Glad he's playing well. He came onto the scene very hot like Shapovolov a bit but then tapered off, he's had a great run the past month or so. Also has never lost a final so we'll see how he does vs Rublik. Can he solve Rublik's cube?
Humbert is an unbelievably difficult match up historically for Medvedev and it showed once more, and it's especially more exposed on a faster hardcourt.
Pundits had predicted an all-Russian final, and based on rankings it made sense. But the ever entertaining, and more increasingly focused Bublik was 4 points away from victory - before that harsh but understandable default - and now faces Humbert, who always had the shotmaking ability, but is in better shape, and more patient about point construction, and has likely gotten used to the taste of winning - Bublik vs Humbert // it will be good final!!
maybe it's the editing...but Bublik's backhand looked especially weak...he should've been able to get the extreme angle on some of those on Rublev paint-the-line shots that were sending him out wide on his backhand.

There no was physical contact nor anything said in a language the judge line could understand, still unapproriate but feel a point or game penalty would have been more appropriate (tho not sure if possiblr according to rules)

Russian is my mother tongue, he just called the line umpire a moron. It's more about the way he did that, it was out of proportion. I agree with the decision even though I often route for Rublev. and there was probably OUT really, he needed just to stop the point and make a call for a replay

Meddiocre is very stubborn, slow to embrace change, in his late 20s now, and is a dad. What you see is what you get. His competitive edge is waning, slowly but surely.

If Rublev can improve his net game & forecourt coverage he could be a truly complete player. Besides his temper this I think is holding him back from doing better at the slams. Surely Bublik who has got every shot in the book will make a true run at one of the majors soon.

I'm not surprised. rublev has been on the brink of disqualification for a long time. He always protests about everything, even when he is winning, which makes me even more angry. I have seen the entire match, already with 1-0 in the first set he began to harass the chair umpire for granting first serve to Bublik. There is always a lack of respect from the chair umpires, from the line judges. He is a false humble. Excuse my English, I'm Spanish.
Fognini was disqualified from U.S. Open for insulting umpire in Italian, so if Rublev did in fact say insults in Russian, it makes sense he was disqualified too.

I'm not surprised. rublev has been on the brink of disqualification for a long time. He always protests about everything, even when he is winning, which makes me even more angry. @akshatsharma6554 agree with that. But tennis is not judged the same depending on the tournament and the players.... And it's even worse in challenger.... Rublev and the big stars are pretty much ok as they can do things that can't be done by a lot of players
