Turangi Tongariro River Trail and Fly Fishing

This weekend we were in Turangi, 45 minutes drive south of Lake Taupo.
We biked the Tongariro River Trail and Walkway, which is on the banks of the Tongariro River this river is world famous for its Rainbow Trout.
The Trail is one of the most picturesque mountain bike trails, it’s popular for beginners and experienced riders .
Ease of access and stunning tranquility just five minutes from Turangi township.
Plus I was able to get in some fly fishing with my great friend Shanksy , I watched while he fished, as you need a license to trout fish in this area.
