- Today I provide you with my take on the Era 2 premium heavy, the XM1 (GM) in @WorldofTanksModernArmor. The XM1 is a well balanced premium that also doubles up as a crew trainer. I personally think War Gaming have done a good job balancing this tank, it fits well into Era 2.

Tank you for, again, a cool video 😊 I like Tanks like that. But I’ll probably will be surrounded by Begleidpanzer and co, that shred my nice XM1 Crew Trainer to pieces 😅
I mostly play ATGM tanks, and this one made me look up the armor model. Both the upper and lower plates are fully spaced, as well as the entire turret. Definitely a good selling point for it the XM-1 given how missile saturated era 2 is at the moment.
Looks interesting, and it's Era 2, not Era 3 like everything new seems to be. Might give this a try. Haven't bought anything in ages. Thanks for the video Rikki
Do like the tank. think the armor is a bit worse than i thought it would be. gun is straight up derp……. for me….. Bit sluggish, armor at the front holds up against atgm’s but other shells kinda meh. 12.9K gold is kinda steep, but it isn’t the worst. 12K gold for a T8 is bad. Of course it will be available in a year for free xp or something. still had some gold left and bought myself a bradley too :D (for free xp of course, Since 6,75k gold for it is a good price)
Are we gonna get korean tech tree or just the k1 tank?
good tank, but unfortunately i uninstalled the game last month and don't have plan to download it again . maybe download it again if they fix the game in era 2 and era 3.

If it dosnt have active missile protection and super vision systems added its just not worth using gold on.
I would love to get this tank because I love heavies but it's out fo my budget at this time

XM-1 is one of the vehicles that competed to be the M1 Abrams MBT.
Is its armour good enough tho?🤔
It's hull armour is garbage, almost everything you will face will autopen the front of this tank. This tank is basically a medium which is what disappointed me, I was hoping for 250mm of spaced armour.

To me its just like a M60A1.. I would not call it a heavy, more like a medium.
This tank is a joke, its slow, has no armor, fails to penetrate even medium tanks. I was so disappointed I sold it so I wouldn’t have to look at it.
Overpriced! A year from now WG will give it away in an op.
Another reason not to play the game again. Stop caving and spending money and force wargaming to sort out all the gameplay issues.
