Something you would see on AliExpress or similar sites, not bashing anyone or anything. Its nice to window shop and glance from time to time. I like the blunt nose plier heads too.
Wow, that’s funny. I grabbed something similar to that at Harbor Freight many years ago. (At least I think it was Harbor Freight… coulda been anywhere.) But, it was a set of two tools. 1. The reversible pliers… the regular plier head flipped over to the needle nose, and the needle nose had those same strippers, and it had rubberized ergonomic grips with no other tools… so it was actually comfortable, 2. A matching multi-tipped ratcheting screw driver. No blades or other tools, but the same idea on the pliers. Not the highest quality obviously, but perfect for the kitchen junk drawer. I’m waiting for one of the “bigs” to come up with that only, on a higher engineered/quality level… a la the Mr. Crunch that no one can get. 😒
The Mr. Crunch... well unfortunately that was rather disappointing but hopefully the top multitool companies will come out with some more unique tools.
I purchased an almost identical tool, called the FlipGrip, over 20 years ago. Patent number 5,245,721 is stamped on side and there is no made in China stamped on the awl.
@@hvacbudget8600 I have never found a use for it. It is too big to carry in my pocket and it also does not have the small tools that are useful like a scissors. Carrying it in the car or truck instead of my pocket would be OK but I already have tool boxes with all the needed full size tools in both the car and truck.
@@hvacbudget8600 I have one of the original Schrade tough tools and they are built well, although the design is a little awkward. I later acquired a tough tool that was built in china and it was absolute junk.
"Excellent wire smasher" :-) Thanks for bringing it to our attention, acquiring one, and reviewing it.
Thanks for watching this "smashing" video.
That's really neat! It would be cool for a complete to make a nicer pair.

I think it might be worse to be fair but it has some unique features.
Put aside the quality, you will see the inovation.
I can definitely see the potential for something like this. Still appears to be in the prototype stages but a hell of an idea
Innovation without quality = gimmick
That is very interesting.

Has the tool come in handy? The heavier duty pliers definitely seem useful for some task other multi tools could struggle with.

It is kind of a hybrid between the schrade tough tool and a gerber mp600. If it was built better it could be a good tool
Very true
Understandable why it's no longer made.
True. I do wonder how other multi-tools like the Schrade tough tool has survived this long. I've heard it's almost as bad!

Where did you get that junkie little thing lol 😂
It is rough!
This tool is no longer available, yet you premiered the video 3 hours ago? Helpful. (not)
A lot of people such as myself like watching reviews of odd discontinued multitools. Plus maybe someone could still buy this used.
Es muy interesante, y se ve muy robusta
Thanks for watching!
Excellent! I've been looking for a good tool to smush all my wiring. Seriously though, great idea, poorly executed.
Lol! I agree with you.
It'll be copied soon..
