- Roger Fortson, a 23-year-old Black soldier, was killed by the US police after an officer stormed his flat in Florida state.
His family’s lawyer says law enforcement went to the wrong apartment and shot at Fortson before telling him to drop his gun, which was pointed to the floor.

@@wubblersswubblerss4822 Yes the individual was pointing the gun at the safety point of view and I remembered watching some shooting range videos of safety tips and clearly the Deputy is at fault and this bodycam is clear of unlawfully lethal force killing a Patriot servicemen by defending his own country and the Deputy should be charged for 2nd degree or 3rd degree murder over a mistaken flat/apartment complex room number. I hope this case should reopen and have more Police Officers and Sheriff's Deputies training on to verify their exact address location from the 911 caller and no mistakes or unlawfully killing on innocent civilians in the crime area/suppose 911 taken place.

Like a lot of other shootings this one could've been avoided if the officer had more training and been more confident with his firearm, but the black guy had a round 0 of the common sense that should be mandatory to own a firearm.

I also don't blame inanimate objects, I blame irresponsible, stupid, and evil people. Inanimate objects don't do anything without a person's interference. I do however believe there should be better laws against giving guns to just anyone. I, as a woman feel much safer with a gun/ranged weapon than any other weapon. I could easily be overpowered trying to use anything that requires me to be close to my attacker. Most times just showing the would be attacker that u have a gun is enough to stop any attempt. You would really only need to pull the trigger in dire situation. Unfortunately many people don't know what a dire/life and death situation really is.

When he opened it, didn’t even have a split second to react before he was gunned down. you’re not legally obligated to open doors for cops. If they don’t have a warrant they can’t come in, if they do they’ll kick it in quickly after asking.
