My pop always used to pick our birds fresh grass whenever he could. He reckoned it helps there digestion. Old school pigeon fancier from Toowoomba QLD and he had a lot of healthy birds! 👍
Greens are so important for them and there feathers will look so much brighter and incredible you can also feed sprouts and fruit and limit seeds as much as possible I recommend Spinach Bell peppers Brussel sprouts Broccoli Cauliflower Kale Mixed beans you can get them in a tin from aldi Coles Woolies Squash Pumpkin Sweet potato Fresh corn Fresh peas Just because seeds will actually kill them over time so by feeding them as fresh as possible will also encourage them to fly more because they'll have more energy You can watch bird tricks for more information thanks 🙂

Use some white tape or paint at the bottom of the bath container. I think your birds having hard time reading the depth of the water that’s why they are hesitating.
See that spot where you are washing the trays. That’s where the birds should be bathing with a sprinkler as well. Then they can fly around and dry themselves in the sun and relax and pick around in the grass.
@@skypixel9477 it’s not cabbage lol, it’s a type of lettuce. It’s good for their gut asks the Romanian hearts have a good nutritional value unlike the standard iceberg lettuce. It’s also good for their health!
Hey 😊 A couple of problems with this video - The water was too shallow and the tub was too deep so the pigeons couldn't comfortably go in - you shoudlve put two tubs at least so they wouldn't fight over the water And yes green are amazing for birds. Great vid
I use the same baths for my birds. I cut two entrances for the birds by making two angled cuts about 15 cm apart down to 5cm from the bottom. Next I use a het gun to bend the cut section out to make a ramp which I then score with an angle grinder to provide grip for the birds. The just hop on the little ramp and straight into the water. They love a good bath, don’t they?

Birds need to be able to touch water with beaks before they enter 2 more inches of water needed in bath.or purchase a shallow depth bath normal 50mm fill to top with water. suggest you grow silver beet spinach stay away from lettuce
Please give them to different small pieces different vegetables and what we eat different leaves for sale.they will eat very happily.in Sri Lanka we have different leaves pigeons would like to eat them.see u.

We feed our birds Lettuce and Watercress every Sunday. They love it. They will even pick the soil that the watercress comes in

My birds are molting like crazy so they're loving their baths even more than usual. Racing season is over here so they can bathe whenever they want.

Pigeons love lettuce every now and then. Also bread they smash it.
Its funny to see them picking at the weeds! I give my birds Romanian lettuce hearts every other week probably, that's what mine enjoy the most!
