That's the most raptor-like 'dove' I've ever seen. A pretty handsomely-designed bird holding peacock- (and poultry-) like influences from both historical and creatures of myth. A favourite of the DOVER Institute; really, FASA? Space worms for the Combine, sure, why not? Not as repulsive as the bodily-infecting type, are they as dangerous in their own way as Star Wars' space slug or Tremors in space? Naturally contrasting to any mechanical environment. Its ass is its face, plus the BattleTech variant secretes a toxin while eating the vehicular insulation...don't travel Kurita Airlines through Kurita space. The Oushi-Uma basically seems to be the Draconis common version of bovines or cattle. With a hump and some horns. But of course the animal chosen as a family home pet, Pachirisu, is a space squirrel. Shock glands definitely sound like an element ideally removed from any household animal companion.”Get Them All”? OK, I've never even wanted to be familiar with Pokémon but the name of that Yakuza ritual (!?) just reeks of an obvious wink-wink-nudge-nudge reference. The plight of the Tawagoto Saru as both genetic engineering test subjects and city hobo apes is sad. Being carnivorous, the Combine should herd them out of the urban areas back into their natural habitat as a recovered species rather than to mire as trash gorillas. But that the Draconis would consider such an operation to not be worth the effort is an easy prediction. Apparently. The Snap Dragon. Damn, don't go on random hike or walkabout. I prefer the actual snapdragon flora. 'Nuff said. Import the bird, the horned dromedary, maybe the electric Pocket Monster tree rodent but avoid Combine vehicles and probably Combine territory for those gremlin-like worms. Along with the obvious threats of the packs of space apes, the man-eating plants and the Japanese death reptiles. No Gojiras required. The dragon dove is indeed a beauty, Narrator, and at least the last lizard listed isn't primarily life-threatening or potentially lethal to surrounding humans. Apart from those, not to be a cop-out but I enjoyed the spread of the menagerie of this BattleTech faction; as with them all. With that, my heartfelt thanks go to you once again for this sightseeing subseries wandering around the galaxy, GDN. Have an excellent day free from creepy critters or befriended by fuzzy furries.

I love squirrels in real life and the Pachirisu looks so cute, but finding out about their special ability was a little shocking. :)
Can't wait for a video about the Capellan murder squirrels.
They have murder squirrels?
Each of these humble creatures has more honor than the whole of the Federated Suns. Domo arrigato.
Well said.
This lore is so obscure that not even Nintendo noticed that it has pokemon.
One can wonder if this was written before pokemon came up with the actual pachirisu pokemon.

Some really good names for Draconis Power Armors
Another great Xeno Bestiary, keep up the great work
An actual freaking pokemon. No really, there is an electric type squirrel pokemon named Pachirisu.
One of my preferred Pika-clones.
Pachirisu would be a good name for a power armor equipped with a mech taser
