"Bad" is relative; what could be "bad" for you may be enjoyable for someone else. But most will agree that MATH 101 has a relatively high degree of difficulty to it

avery I had a query I have taken grade 12 chem phy bio together and now that im going to join UBC I need to take math chem and bio do you think i can take all these subjects in one sem as i have 2 of maths, 2 of chem and 2 of bio.
It's all relative and dependent on who you are and what kind of workload you can handle. I'm assuming you're going into UBC Science, where your first-year grades will play a big role in the discipline you get into in second-year. I cannot answer this question for you and it's ultimately a conversation you need to have with yourself or an academic advisor

I honestly can't say if it's worth it or not (because I didn't have any AP credits), but maybe get a taste of the course first (before the withdrawal deadline) and use the information from this video to make your best judgement call
Unfortunately, I don't know anyone who took MATH 120. And personally, I have not even heard much about the course because first-year was already brutal enough and I didn't want to make make math even more brutal 😂

That depends on quite a few factors that I cannot answer for you. Is it a prerequisite or co-requisite for any of your future courses? Is it actually bad or is that just a "right-now" thing? What will be the costs and gains of putting more time into studying for this course? Yes, there are courses that everyone struggles with, but it should not be your only reason why you're dropping the course (especially if you're going to receive a W standing for it)

If you're in sauder I recommend you just stick it out and try your best in the course. Unless you're genuinely worried you'll completely bomb the course, I wouldn't recommend dropping it. if you drop the course you'll have to take it again anyways and you'll likely regret not getting it out of the way, as your ability to complete the course will likely not improve if you're not actively self teaching. As always, get input from multiple points of view (such as your parents and friends). Other than that, take the tips mentioned in the video to heart and you'll likely be able to scrape through with a passable mark. Good luck!

I've never heard of A-level math courses before, so I'd suggest talking to a course advisor about that to see if your credits will transfer over
