I was so thrilled when I woke up this morning, turned on the Xbox, loaded up UA-cam and a new Vlog was already up. In my view your the best Vlogger on UA-cam. It took me a little bit to get used to the new style but I am absolutely loving it. And these family trips are so entertaining. I just wish that Megan would agree to participate, but I understand why. She doesnt want to get bothered by strangers. However it was nice to finally see her even if it was her back. Anyways the one thing I wish you would do for these travel Vlogs is to make them longer. Since your out doing so much, you should be able to capture tons of footage. I personally would love to see 30 minutes. Your so amazing at what you do and I would much rather watch you than any normal TV show. It means the world to me that even on my worst days I can tune in and you can bring a smile to my face. Thank you so much.

hey ken and family I use to be a dishwasher at that hotel you stayed at in North Sydney when i was in high school it use to be called the north star inn great view of Indian beach and the marine Atlantic ferries. enjoy your travels its too bad you couldnt spend more time in cape breton the cabot trail is breathtaking.

I was waiting for this vlog!!! Hope Rocks is a beautiful place. We want to travel across Canada from west to east. We will definitely visit there. Thanks for the pronunciation of Newfoundland. I never quite knew how to say it. Had my first lobster roll a couple years ago in Maine. I didn't like it. I don't like my lobster with mayo and bread. Just lemon and melted butter to dip. Looks like a great trip! Thanks for including us Ken:)

aww man you would have been in truro the same time I was, I work 10 min from there and I was at the canadian tire you passed . dam, ken you can't leave nova scotia with out getting pizza from acropoles in westville nova scotia, its the best ever.

And im always kinda shocked when i see that a gas station dont sell alcohol...here in germany you will always and everywhere have a gas station/ a store or something where you could buy some beers or liquor
Gas stations in Newfoundland sell beer, however you need to go to the Liquor store to get other types of alcohol.

Hi, the high tide at Hopewell Rocks can be as high as 16 meters (52ft) giving it one of the highest average tides in the world..😁👍🏻

I grew up on an island here in N.B. and my dad was a fisherman so I am pretty biased cant get much more fresh than that lol
Sorry to hear about the beer. Most LCBO stores were open here in Toronto until 10 PM on Monday on the civic holiday surprisingly.

By the way, there are 2 tides a day due to different reasons. The larger one tends to be the lunar tide (from just the Moon's gravity), but there's also an inertial tide (from the Earth's spin plus the Moon's orbit) on the opposite side of the Earth from the Moon. The position of the Sun also affects how high or low lunar and inertial tides are.
my SO and I agree that the best lobster roll we've ever had was in NY @ Luke's Lobster (which is a chain - we found that out after the fact). It was a little pricey but absolutely worth the experience - eating their lobster roll felt like an event, one that I've personally tried to replicate and failed. Guess we just have to go back sometime :) By the by, thanks for posting on your vacation, Ken. the gf and I always watch them around dinnertime whenever a new video pops up.
Make sure ya make a trip around the Cabot trail in Cape Breton before you leave you won't regret it! I'm actually not far from hotel North

Great holiday vlogs Ken, New Brunswick looks very scenic, the drone makes a big difference with the aerial shots, just wondering is it warm there, as your more up north.

20 minutes past Truro you can buy beer at NSLC satellite store on holidays.
Luv the Travel Log Ken. Best lobster rolls in Canada are Found on Prince Edward Island. Should go there on your return trip home. It's worth the detour.
Looks awesome! Thank you. Here in the USA behind cigarettes/tobacco products beer sales are the next highest for convenience stores. I do not really understand the laws there.
I recommend making lobster rolls with kaiser rolls and light on condiments.

Oh and Ken about the beer. Why in the world didnt you go by a Walmart before you left and purchase enough beer for the trip? I mean your not crossing any International Borders correct? So you are allowed to bring beer across the Provence Lines right? Here in the USA its ok to do so across state lines as long as its for personal use.

***** Yeah that is why we love Canada so much and lots of our people settled there and help found the beautiful country, my great uncle went to Canada in 1948 to work as a frontiersmen for 3 year contract. He finally came back to live in Scotland in 2007.
