WORLD’S LOWEST TIDE! Hopewell Rocks, Bay of Fundy, New Brunswick | Canada Travel Vlog

- On my epic summer Canadian adventure, I visited Hopewell Rocks, otherwise known as Flowerpot Rocks, on the Bay of Fundy, home of the world's HIGHEST & LOWEST TIDES, and one of North America's Seven Wonders of Nature!! Hopewell Rocks is a beautiful park with an amazingly maintained tidal viewing area in Canada. The 10-15 minute walk to the viewing area is one of the most beautiful hikes, lined with massive pines, and the Hopewell Rocks themselves are otherworldly! Between the fresh smell of pines and the smell of the "chocolate sea," I walked away feeling like I had taken a bath in the cleanest smells that nature has to offer. I hope you enjoy this trip to the world's lowest tide and the beautiful formations it has created! Thanks for watching, please stay tuned for more travel & fun vlogs!

Awesome video, thx for the tour of the place....have a great evening☺
Thanks so much, Larry!
I live in Florida but I’ve been to Hopewell twice. Very beautiful place. The speed at which the tide comes in is absolutely phenomenal. When they tell you you have to clear out as the tide comes in, they mean it. It’s absolutely incredible how fast it comes in. LOL😳😀
Awesome history
Ok I'm late to the party and just discovered you on here. THIS IS MY NECK OF THE WOODS!!!! I'm from AND live in New Brunswick and have been to Hopewell many a time!
Thanks for finding me!! I hope to be able to return one day!
Love the video. I also read the comments. Always impressed by you fluid narrative skills.
Thank you so so much for saying that!!! Much appreciated! I’ve put effort into improving the narrative flow of my videos so it’s really nice to hear that it’s noticed!! I know I have so much to learn and so much room for improvement, but that’s part of the fun, right?? :))))
The flower pot rocks are gorgeous. It’s amazing how some of them are so little on the bottom. Looked like walking on another planet. #seaweedwall

these rocks rock!
Good one, jim!!!
I loved the introduction! This place is very beautiful but dangerous, those are my favorite types of adventures. I can imagine that those pot rocks are very high......up there, of course lol. ok.. lame joke. They almost look like the flying rocks at Pandora. I wish I could smell how "clean" it smelled there. But this video..... Wow, such an awesome capture. I really loved the B roll at the end with your commentary and the music. You had some great swooping shots there, Beautiful stuff! Your camera takes some good video, it was so clear. It looked so good. Your narration was spot on! Great video as always, im really diggin your channel MJ!
LOL!!! It's like a dad joke of the highest order, I love it! Thanks for always being a great friend and an award winning commenter, TJ!! So grateful!!

So awesome would have been cool to see it come back in also
Totally! We saw videos but it wasn’t until 6 hours later and we had to get to the next camp site and set up. Also woulda been too dark to film. I hope one day I get to see it!!
Super Enthused that’s what we figured
Yup yup love it!
Wow! Great vlog! Amazing view and scenery!
It actually took my breath away, so beautiful the rocks are. And the color of the water, is that a pink color. And the wind you mentioned, I love feeling the beach wind upon my skin. I got to watch more videos of this. I'm going to Google this place the first chance I get.
Totally Wayne, me too! Nova Scotia and New Brunswick had so many breath taking sites and wonders, I couldn't even capture it all!! I'm so glad I could capture and share some of it though, because it is an awe-inspiring place!! Thank you so much!!
These kinds of videos remind me of field trips back in school. Kind of a warm nice feel to it. FunStory :)
I love that!!!
YOU CAN DO IT JACKIE WHOOO WALK DAT BAY!!! Another great video

This is pretty cool!! I love that little patio up there for you to just sit and think! Lol.. great video. ~Dawn
Thanks so much, Dawn! That's a spot to just sit and think about your foolishness lol!!!
Super Enthused exactly I had to chuckle at the way you put that too! 😂~Dawn
Looks lovely!
I remember driving by there but regretably did not get a chance to visit. This is absolutely on my list during a future visit.
I watched your Nova Scotia vlogs out of order and this was the last one.
Hope you enjoyed your visit to Canada in 2018. Come back soon.
So cool!!! :))
Thank you!!!
Totally worth it! Great vlog, I love the time out box( penalty box 😊) for those who dare push mother nature! Nicely done.lol 👍👍👍✌
Very cool. I wanted to see video of it when the tide came back in, but it'd probably too dark to see?
I wanted to see it too but it wasn’t for 6 more hours and we had to drive to the next camp site. And yes definitely would have been too dark for me to capture. Hopefully next time and with a better camera!!
Oh my goodness Jackie! I’ve been watching your Disney vlogs for about a year now with my fiancé. We just started as Vloggers in Atlantic Canada and had no idea you had vlogged here before! I’m totally excited now to find all of these! One of my favorite Disney vloggers was right here in my backyard 💜💜 hope you are well!

happy travels, be safe and us in Tampa will see you back soon
those slippery rocks lol
Beautiful place. I love the "dutch angle" @7:55..... PS, I love your hiking sneakers :)
Que fancy, riiiight?? Thanks so much, Craig THE Scottish Guy! THE!!!
That's pretty awesome! Were you able to hang around after and see the time start to roll back in?
Yea it was pretty awesome, thank you!!! Tide wasn't rolling back in for 6 more hours and we had to head to the next campsite and get set up, so no dice this trip! Not to mention I wouldn't have been able to capture much at night, the nights are so dark and beautiful in New Brunswick! I did spend the evening eating lobster and looking up at the milky way though, so not too shabby, right? ;)
Well now I want lobster...
Best lobster I have ever, ever had!!! Two nights of lobster dinner on this trip, one in Nova Scotia, one in New Brunswick, not sure which was better, but both were amazing!!
I live not far from hopewell rocks, and my first time going was on a field trip as a kid, and my oh my!! The walk down to the shore line felt like forever!! And I had a huge fear of bears so I thought bears were gonna come out and eat us 😂😂
You are lucky to be living close to that historic place.
That was really neat! I really like the rock formations!! Just wondering if you seen any dead fish while walking the ocean floor? Great video!
That's an interesting question!! No, no fish! I guess the tide rolls out slowly enough for everybody to catch up and no one is left behind (that I saw, at least)!
That is very interesting and neat!! Was just wondering. Thanks!
I live in New Brunswick , about a hour from the rocks but have never been!
Oh you have to go!! It’s a nice afternoon trip, just make sure you watch those tides so you don’t get stuck on the platform of shame!
Super Enthused lol alright! I dont own a car so thats why I have yet to gone!!
great music. thanks for being my travel guide and legs. so glad it wasn't me having to do all the walking but gotta admit, it is a great idea for a destination. Just have to be sure to beat feet before you become a little fishy. Tsunami time for he who hesitates.
Makes me want to see it at high tide. did you stay around or go back to see it with water?
Wanted to, but it would have been 6 more hours and we had to get to the next camp site. Hopefully next time!! (Edit to add that it would have been too dark for me to capture with my current setup even if we had gone back. Also to add it would look pretty sweet in 360!!)
Wow that's so low!!!!
Get low, get low, get low!
That’s pretty cool being able to walk on the ocean floor. Glad they do have that platform for people who make a mistake and end up being there when the tide comes back in. Is this the place that is mentioned in the EPCOT Circle Vision 360 “O’ Canada” show? I remember there being a marina in the movie and Martin Short mentions that you can walk out there but make sure you come back before the high tide or you will be 40 feet under water. Also this would make a pretty cool time lapse video of the tide going out and coming back in.
YES!! This is the place he mentions, the Bay of Fundy!! How cool, I totally forgot about that!! I know, I do have a timelapse that a friend took, maybe I'll post it on instagram :) Thanks, Cindy!!
You go up there and think about how foolish you are! Very interesting place, nice.
Yeah, I’d be the guy going up to that platform...
Thinking about your foolishness for six hours and getting attacked by birds. Tsk tsk Greg 2. Where’s Greg 1 to save you?
That is one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen in my entire life. Where in Florida are you from? I’m in The Jacksonville area.
Same here!!! I’m in Miami :)
Instagram seaweed wall!
YES! Let's make this a thing lol!!!
Greetings from Canada omg you are in my neighbourhood. Wish I could have met you.☺☺☺☺💟💚❤💙
