I've seen you comment that you have more footage of the installation. Please, would love to see! I too have a 91 Z28 & need to replace EGR valve. Just a little leary in removal of the TPI. Would love seeing whats involved before tackling. Please consider uploading. Thank you my friend. 👍
Hello there! Thanks for watching - very much appreciated! The footage I have is pretty rough - it was the first stuff I filmed. I am trying to get time to sort it out a bit and put it up in the next week or two. It will be long but there will be chapters to skip to! Bear with me and there will be something along in the not too distant future. I removed the runners but that was mostly to put aluminium cleaner on them. You could do the job without removing them - access would just be a bit more limited. Many thanks once again - best of luck with your Z28!
Apologies for the delay in reply! I used a heated and bent 3/8” combination spanner for the fwd bolt. And a heated and very bent(!) 3/8” - 7/16” ring spanner for the rear bolt. I do have a wee video of those spanner’s I could put up quickly this evening if it helps. Comments/ questions are always welcome and appreciated!👍
some thoughts, when was the Coolant, brake fluid, and rear end lube flushed / changed? Especially with all the sitting this car has done. Great car, enjoy.
I changed the coolant recently. It's parked up for the winter at the moment but the brake fluid is overdue a flush and I will be looking at putting in new diff oil and friction modifier. This video went public by mistake - I left it up to see what would happen but have footage of the whole process that I need to edit and upload! Thanks once again for your interest - very much appreciated.
Cheers for watching the video! First ever comment! I was looking to keep it as near original as possible but may well do that the next time! Got more videos (with editing!!) in the pipeline. Stop by again - thanks! 👍
Good camera angles! 🎉
Cheers! They’ll get better - lots to learn still! Thanks for watching - much appreciated!

Thanks for responding, I understand & much appreciated. I'm the original owner & have 53k on it! 🤘💪
You’re welcome! Always delighted to get a view and a comment! That’s awesome that you’re the original owner!👍
I just have one more question. What kind of wrench was that you used to uninstall/install the EGR?
