@@TuftyyFN it’s rly good. I think it’s up to 9 hours straight on average brightness. Depends if you play games or just watch UA-cam/anything else. If you play a lot of games, it will take up more battery. If you’re just using for basic lifestyle it’s up to 9 hours. Hope this helps

Got mine today on launch day, switched from att to verizon last night as well and honestly couldn't be happier. Saving 25% on my phone bill while getting the best 5g on the market. On top of that, every phone that swapped got a $250 credit so our bill is technically free for like the next 8-10 months. Also, traded in my iphone X for $550 so essentially got my 12 pro for $200. Definitely worth the upgrade and loving mine so far!
@@Edwin.X because the rumors were right regarding the iPhone 12, specifically the integration of mag safe and a non 120hz screen, the only thing the leaks got wrong were the new airpods, so given that the next iPhone will most likely have that higher refresh rate but also move to usb-c I think the wait would be worth it.
After seeing all these commercialized-biased unboxings, I'm so happy that you have always stuck with being real and fair(saved me money), I always look forward to your iPhone reviews every year!

Is it just me or the pictures from 11 pro look much better and sharper than the 12 pro on the main wide camera. Not sure how anyone’s not seeing that especially the guy who is reviewing the phone .. Only see improvements on telephoto and ultra wide camera.
Verge is the only review that matters. The rest of the internet can use glitchy sounds and hue bulbs on their videos all they like, but the verge always answers the questions I have in the end.

That’s true, and I should have mentioned it. But also: there’s reallllly only Verizon mmwave out there right now, and we were given Verizon review units. So probably just thinking too narrowly about the phone I was holding.
All those “dots” in the night video I think are due to the elements that make up the iPhones lenses lacking anti-reflective coatings like you find on “real” camera lenses.

It’s now October 2022 and I just upgraded from an iPhone 8+ w 64G to a new 12 pro w 512G. I got a killer deal since the 14 was just released lol Paid $700 for it and am really happy with it. Mostly I’m happy w the price for the type of phone I got bc I haaaaate spending full price for anything I hope this phone will serve me well the same way the iPhone 8+ did for 5 yrs
Not recommending an upgrade in the middle of the pandemic is the honest truth that many people need to hear. We of course all have different financial situations. What’s the benefit of a MagSafe charger over the same powered standard charger? Both have wires connected to an outlet so I’m having difficulty seeing the benefit
A lot of people undersell LiDAR but I think it’ll be a game changer. It’s not just autofocus and placing things inside your room or better Snapchat filters. It can map a whole entire room and you can design based on that. There’s a ton of professional implementation for that I think. Which professional implementation will over 3-5 years trickle down to consumer implementation. So right now it might not be important but by 2025 or so we could be like, “Wow I’m so glad Apple implemented LiDAR all those years ago” honestly.

Because sensors are similar, 12 pro uses f1.6.
That will make less sharp.
F1.6 is too much for this sensor size.

Because those people has just bought the iphone 11 series so they really try to hate on the 12 series... it’s not so different in prices and also iphone 11 series is cheaper now from when it launched... so ofc it wil be more expensive to buy the iphone 12.

What’s the benefit of a MagSafe charger over the same powered standard charger? Both have wires connected to an outlet so I’m having difficulty seeing the benefit

A lot of people undersell LiDAR but I think it’ll be a game changer. It’s not just autofocus and placing things inside your room or better Snapchat filters. It can map a whole entire room and you can design based on that. There’s a ton of professional implementation for that I think. Which professional implementation will over 3-5 years trickle down to consumer implementation. So right now it might not be important but by 2025 or so we could be like, “Wow I’m so glad Apple implemented LiDAR all those years ago” honestly.
