1. Never said this was a bad phone. iPhone 12 is definitely the most revolutionary change after iPhone X.
2. But still, no. I'm not buying an iPhone anytime in the next 10 years. I'm a full on Android guy, in a country that's full of Android phones.
Also you can't even replace the camera screen or battery anymore it bricks the system blocking almost all use with an error message saying it is not an official apple battery, screen or camera even tho you scrapped it from an other iphone

I'm absolutely disappointed with apples decision to cut down the battery while putting in power draining features (not even 120hz lol). Apple better have some alien technology that lets us get 120hz and 5g and all the bells and whistles without the 30 minutes - 1 hour battery dropoff compared to iphone 11. And that difference is without taking into account 5g.

it's always surprising to me these youtube people get scratches so easily (probably to later partner with some screen protector maker company lol). i have used 4 smartphones in the last 8 years and never got a scratch on my phone, even without a screen protector. the only scratch i ever got was on camera lens on sony xperia z3 compact, because sony scammed consumers by adding a plastic camera lens instead of glass lol
That glass is just weak my phone can do the same with out a protection and still not get a scratch

I always pop to Apple and get them to put on a belkin invisi glass for £20 as i suck at putting them on. When i got my 12 i didnt even take it out the box until i got to my local Apple store. These phones are too expensive to use naked!
I did the same with my Xs, I took the protector off to sell yesterday and it had a couple of cracks on the protector, but the screen underneath was immaculate, no surface scratches or anything. They work well! - plus they are life time guarantee so you just get Apple to keep putting new ones on every time you get a crack or scratch. To be honest would be nice to see these pre-installed now.

@@qpol yeah I know those existed. The iPhone SE 1st gen came out in 2016. My point was that iPhone 4 was really the first “flat” design. 10 years ago now. And then iPhone 5 was even more flat than the 4. I think the SE first gen is nearly identical to the 5.

I have an SE 2016 (which has the same edges as the 5 and 5S) and an iPhone 12 Pro. The iP12 is much flatter; the SE has chamfered edges and a display that sorta sticks up from the enclosure. I think that’s why he called it super flat.

And then, I waited for the Big Billion Days on Flipkart (it’s an annual sale that they do) where I was able to get the phone’s 128 GB variant for around 54,000 INR (about 625 USD) brand new after exchanging my older phone

@@bl0xypl3b97 there’s a warning on the Apple website. When you go and buy a phone from the website it tells you what comes in the box at the bottom of the product page under “What’s in the box”. It even shows a USB-C to Lightning Cable. People are just too lazy to look for the warning.

The iPhone 5 was my all time favorite phone. I’ve had an iPhone 6 Plus that my grandma gave me when she was done with it 3 years ago. I had android for a few years before that. I’m definitely wanting the 12, I’m impressed. I want that nostalgic feel so bad. It’s an iphone 5 of the future lol

Coming back to this, I’ve bought previous new phones and I can say, the iPhone 12 is officially my favorite Apple iPhone device I’ve ever bought that was cool, the model is not weird, it’s so technical and nice, All the other ones I’ve never been a fan of, coming off the button Home Screen this is the one, I love this model so much I had to buy two 😭

I bought mine about 2 months ago and I’ve gotta say I was coming from an iPhone XS and the screen size felt like it was gonna be a deal breaker for me, but after getting used to it, it has become the perfect phone size, if you’re getting it I would recommend to go for bold text in settings and maybe making text size a bit bigger which will help visibility, battery life is decent and the cameras are ridiculously good 👍 all in all very happy with my purchase

The scratch resistance and shatter protection is so true . Dropped my phone a couple times , no cracks but a whole lot of scratches from things like putting the phone down on a rough surface or slightly dragging the phone trying to pick it up if I accidentally put it face down on a table . XD .

I’m really happy that they went back to the flat design. I just wish the camera doesn’t protrude without a case. I still love the old iPhone 4 glass back with aluminum steel band. That was classy as hell.

@@demmersify well there is camera glass in back, and i assume that it's just as expensive to change than display. I ofc use that kind of protector, wich raises just that much each side, that those glases never hit anything. But somehow I would be more concerned about camera than display itself😄

Fancy animations are for the kids. Technology is reaching its highest level and at some point it would be impossible to innovate. Soon we will reach that limit and the only way to sell a product is through some fancy animations we can not verify. For me its the same glass.
