I had an interview with Gordon 2 weeks ago. Just got up to an email saying I wasn't selected. I'm not gonna like, that was a blow. I watch all your videos, and I just knew I was gonna get it.
Shake it off bro. Don’t get discouraged. I didn’t get hired from the two food service companies I applied for when I got out of trucking school but it’s all good now! You might have to try another company for now. Who knows, it might be a good fit for you. Stay positive champ. Be safe

Why would anyone even bother with beer delivery compared to this. Neither is easy, but that seems rougher for less pay!
Ant wouldn’t it be a good idea to carry some shrink wrap with you just in case the pallet gets a little shaky by the time you get to the stop
Absolutely! I have some in the truck but I knew I didn’t really need it for those pallets. If cases would’ve been falling out of the shrink wrap I would’ve re-wrapped it.

Quick question. Can you bring a helper and generate more?
No, you can’t bring a helper. They may offer to send someone out to help you or have someone ride with you if you have a heavy load but you can’t bring someone.
I highly recommend your videos for the new guys it was very helpful for me to already know what I was getting into & efficient ways to do the job I Just finished my first week with Sygma. I had two, two day routes & one local run unloaded 3800 pieces all together & 108k pounds & 28 stops all together all with a hand truck no power jack lifts & no electric elevator ramp on the back all manual labor & running & trucking. This jobs like a CrossFit workout for 5-6 straight hours but i enjoyed it for real.

how’s the job to be honest because am thinking to join but i don’t know how many skid they will give me and is it any timeframe for delivery and are they also give pickup too..
It’s a physically demanding job. There’s no way of me knowing how many skids you will have on a route. Every route is different. Each stop has a delivery time window in which the delivery has to be made to the customer. Yes, sometimes the customer may have a pickup or return to take back to your DC. Typically, it’s a case or two but every now and then a customer may have a few more returns.
Does Gordon allow ride alongs for people interested in applying?
I have no idea. I’ve never heard of anyone riding along who didn’t already work for the company but I guess it’s worth looking into.

Did u leave the freezer door open?
That’s actually the cooler. It’s like two coolers and a freezer. You enter a cooler when you first walk in & another cooler where I place the first stack up against the freezer door. Both freezer & cooler items stay in the cooler. The customer actually puts the freezer items inside the freezer when they arrive. The freezer is small. They order a bunch of product so they allow us to keep the second cooler door open which is why that door is still open. I close the main entrance cooler door when I’m done.

We did have a shuttle driver & extra board driver position available but I believe both positions have been filled. I’ll check and let you know for sure.

@JJFN-zm3ky Most guy’s use their phone GPS. Google maps and or some type of trucker GPS.

@@stevebaker8966 ok how is it? I had a interview with gfs and Pfg one is shuttle and other is delivery. Pfg says they pay 50 miles with $10 drop and hook is that low or alright?
