This guy is super smart this series is attracting so many viewers and new subscribers making people anxious for the next video to see the progress waiting for the day he gets the Ferrari
I love German. He does amazing detail work and just seems like one of those guys you can trust to not rob or fuck you!!!! It’s important to have good guys! Your business is shot without good workers!
I’ve been watching the series from the beginning and I’m loving it. Most car Chanel’s I see never show cars that are affordable to most people and seeing cheap used cars that are made into something fun like the ss, is really awesome to me. Can’t wait to see the Ferrari!!!
There's a really good video online on how do repair those frames. You make a cardboard template out of the torn/rotted section, cut that out of 1/8" CRS, bevel the edges then fit it right in. I was going to do that on a $700 F150 crew cab 4 x 4 I had but ended up fixing my other truck instead and keeping it as a parts truck. The thing is: where I am, the welding (even if done correctly) to certify/safety it HAS to be done by a certified welder.
I’ve been watching this series from the beginning and I love it! Jermin’s a true hero. That guy’s the real deal and all his work looks greats. He deserved every penny he earns! Can’t wait for more content. That Ferrari will be here in no time.
Paint the mustang “yellow gold metallic”. It’s a stock color from 1971 and it absolutely breaks necks with the black stripe package and black accented hood.
Gotta say, I like how honest he is with all of this...the ups and downs. A thumbs-up is certainly not much to ask for so much effort he puts into making videos
Just found you and binged all the episodes...at work...lol. Awesome progress so far, huge respect for you and your team at the shop too. Bunch of hard workers! Looking forward to the next episode.
Really great series. When you talk numbers, can you also include shop Labor hours spent on it and how that calculates out with the overall investment into it?
The SS Trail Blazer does look much, much better. I would have loved to see it after the detail, especially with the carpets and seats shampooed and steam cleaned. Thanks! Great video and kudos to Jermin!
Hey craig, I know I'm good at spending OPM but a suggestion? Get your guys a unit at your rental property for doing body work and paint and leave your garage at the dealership for mechanical stuff. Probably save money in the long run because you won't have issues with dust on everything, german can work his magic more efficiently etc.......
Became a new subscriber I believe in what you are doing I used to do flipping a few years back and sadly I made a few wrong decisions but watching your $400 flipp to Ferrari gave me inspiration to start up plus I have for guidance. Thank you sowell family 😀
I can bet that frame damage was one of three things...either it jumped on a Dyno run and the strap caused that or it was on a trailer and was in some type of incident or most likely they skid off the road and instead of calling AAA someone hooked a tow stamp to it and ripped it out of a ditch hence the scratches...either way a coil truck somewhat brought back to life...
I bought a 2005 Trailblazer SS AWD with every available option at the time when they first came out. It was probably the best car I’ve ever owned and it was pure joy to drive. I wish I still had it!!
Love the channel! You obviously have a lot of projects going on and it would be easier to follow if these $400 to Ferrari flip videos, you just stick to those specific cars. Create more videos with the rest of your fleet.
German has a lot of knowledge and experience! Guys like him are not easy to find! If I were you, I would give him a raise, you don't want to lose that guy! What a find
Dude, 19:10 you´ve seen the front bumper on the right hand side, the fitting seems more than odd .. you know that right?! ... nevertheless i do have to give credit where credit is due ... nice transformation.
Love the vids. But you are correct, those mid panel blends are absolute no no on black cars(well any but black especially). There will be a visible blend or clearcoat peel in a couple months. I can see the blends in the vid already.
Amazing series man. Love transparency and genuine information you are passing along. Can't believe I just found your channel. Got some catching up to do!!
wow - I can't believe what I'm seeing - the finish looks really bad. I would suggest looking for a temporary spray booth or constructing a make shift booth or at least a dedicated spray area. It will help you in the long run. All the contamination on those painted panels require a lot of work to remove and German's open blends are just a time bomb waiting to explode. That can come back to haunt your reputation. You were correct in saying that extending the paint to the edges is the way to go. One summer in the sun a few car washes will expose that blend. I admire you hustle and your teams commitment, but you will be well served. I get it, you're not a collision shop - that's my world. Thanks for the vid, you get a thumbs up from me.
To clear a couple of things up for people who don’t know. The trailblazer SS(TBSS) had a 1SS and 3SS options. The 1SS has the cloth seats. The 3SS was leather with the suede inserts. They were also not all, awd. They made rwd ones too. And that grant wheel isn’t stock. That’s after market
Pull the wheels off and paint the brakes red...as others have commented it would have been nice to show the frame repair. Hope you get all the money for the TBSS...looking forward to your next flip cars in the series.
Next time you put the leather back on the back part of the seat, put a trash bag over it and it'll slide right on. Cut the holes on the trash bag where the seat attaches to the foam before hand.
I've got the 2005 Trailblazer LT V8. It has the switch that has rear-wheel, All Wheel, 4x4, and 4x4 low for the options. I love my truck. .05 miles to the gallon off from its factory gas mileage. I take really good care of it since it was handed to me after my father's passing..
Loving the series! We would love to see this process on a whiteboard or graphic of some kind. Just a giant infographic with arrows and cars that lead to a Ferrari!
craig sold it baby! the bimmer. made 1800$ sold for 5600$ thanks for the motivation! about to buy a high mileage 6 speed ls1 for 5700-5800$ its a steal its a 2003 corvette electron blue w chrome wheels and a 6 speed manual transmission. cant wait! buy now in winter i can drive it for a few months and sell in spring for at least 2k in profit!
Brake calipers gotta be red, and those front grill chrome "inserts" need to be blacked out. Guaranteed, those 2 changes will DOUBLE your profit!! Excellent work, excellent video, thanks!
Truck is awesome just need brakes painted red. Like how when you doubted German, on the paint fixing, you was humble in that you were wrong, as he buffed that to perfection as can’t tell from the new paint job and the old one.
20:07 great job on that rebuild and flip 👍👍 too bad the guy didnt pull out the 2 dents in the back bumper while re painting it, it comes back easy with a heat gun
Thanks Greg and German. You guys doing awesome job and always inspiring me, I’m opening my small dealership and I’m very exited how it’s going to grow and how far I will go since it will be my part time / fun/hubby project.
You can see the blend on the door a hair. It's not bad though, and certainly better than it was. I would finnish it up with the calipers and the rear SS badge repair. Its the little things. That make it pop the rest of the way. Leave the inside bare for someone to personalize as the leather was plenty to make it seem higher trim.
Love your channel man. You seem like a good dude. This is not a $400 to Ferrari series though. You’re not even counting the labor cost. Either way I dig what you’re doing. Hope your channel gets massive.
